I think what's happening here is Democrats are realizing they've lost power over the Republican party.

That's why when President Trump started they called him a liar and a dirt bag in the same stuff they really call every other Republican. What Trump did was show people not to give a s*** about that.

It worked on previous Republicans because they wanted to be popular and wanted to be aligned and the Republican voters would say yeah maybe that's something I should object to and it was always something personal like they had an affair or they did some drugs or and they weren't entirely Christian or something like that.

I think about when Herman Cain was running I think that was in 2012. The godfathers Pizza incident and it just turned the Republicans off of him because the Republicans valued their beliefs over winning.

Trump broke that he came to the party with all of his stuff already known and he shot up the board in popularity with the party to the point now that don't care about how Democrats try to assassinate his character that's why they're desperate to do it because it's worked for so long I just stopped working and then I really don't know what to do.

The Democrats used to have this party loyalty wearing even if their guy was caught with an underage kid getting busy they still vote for him. That's why it's brother absurd to hear them talking about it

    Sorry to ramble

You just said that her going with the J6 committee negated "a lot" of her votes with the party. Hence, you believe loyalty to Trump
    is more important than policy.

Stupid conclusion - you assume that committee was anything other than a partisan lynching.

But you said her participation negated "a lot" of her votes on other issues ... thus you are claiming that Trump is more important to you than
other issues. Hence Trump is more import than policy to you.

I think the 17th Amendment should be repealed. The people now elect senators directly, but there is very little accountability once elected. Incumbents have access to huge campaign treasure chests and they are hard to remove. The states no longer have teeth to influence federal issues and have no influence on their senator.

No "thus" about it; you claimed she voted with party 93% of the time - I'm just pointing out her performance on the committee negated a lot of those votes in her fellow house members. She was in a position to at least get a bit of fairness into the process and she turned tail.

Which means you value Trump more than her votes on policy.

Nope. It means you don't have a friggin' idea what I'm saying, and stuck in mindless partisan gospel. And not worth further effort from me.

I already explained why they sent her packing and it had nothing to do with not representing the conservatives and Republicans in Wyoming.

Very easily. If Wyomingians felt Cheney was representing what they wanted, they would have re-elected her.

Sure it did. They didn't want her to be a party traitor and she ignored their wishes so they threw her out and voted in someone who would not just represent herself, but the people of Wyoming.
