Most Christians, including you, forget the teaching in John 7:53 through 8:11 which the rulers of the law and the Pharisees brought forth a woman who "was caught in adultery." It is also where Jesus wrote in the sand the names of two men who also slept with her and were the accusers. Sadly, today, some Christian churches forget that teaching about "truth" on homosexuality and other sins.

The Bible in Romans 12:1-2 also says that we Christians are to be transformed to the world, meaning we Christians are the light of the world, not by what we condemn, but by how we love our fellow man, even if that person is in sin. If you are in a business that sells to the public, why on earth would you deny such business and force your religious views onto others by denying them a cake, or a car, or prescription medicine that is a contraceptive? That is not religious freedom or exercising your religion, that is enforcing your views on religion to others who may not share the same as you. This is a further attempt to make this nation a "Christian nation" despite the fierce objections by our founding fathers in the Federalist Papers, their personal letters, and debate on the house floor. Finally, there are many views of Christianity ranging from Easter Orthodoxy, to Catholicism, to the various forms of Protestantism, each saying that their philosophy is the correct philosophy of what the Bible says. Yet all adhere to the Nicene Creed as their core belief.

To be Christian is easy, to be Christ-like means sacrifice and I don't mean denying a cake to some couple who are gay. And that is not easy at all because we are human.

All of the denominations listed think that their denomination is the best or "true" interpretation of what Christ meant. Some are blatantly flagrant about it with a class you must attend that states what they believe and why they are better than the other denominations before you are accepted as a member. At least, they don't force that onto you when you visit the church no matter how many times you visited.

 

There are times that "wokism" has gone to extremes, but if the leaders of "wokeism" can simplify their message of acceptance to all and not shame people for "cultural appropriations" from 50 years ago or something, then they would have a better messaging platform.

Marriage was created, defined, and regulated by civil governments. The conscious force that we are all fundamental parts of, which by the way is not your deity of choice, had nothing to do with it, at least not independently of the temporarily separated human powers that invented it.

You are worshiping a book, dude. One with some wisdom in it to be sure, but still mostly an art of fiction created by humans just like you and me. But it's just a book.
