August may not see any tropical storms for just 3rd time in 60 years
Hurricane season is approaching prime time, yet there are only fading hints of tropical development. AccuWeather meteorologists explain why and what they're looking out for.

And tomorrow marks that day in the only depression still way out in the South Atlantic is not predicted to develop and heading north. So no hurricanes in the Gulf not even a tropical depression.

    Oh but remember

Experts Predict “Above Average” 2022 Hurricane Season

Even the beginning of this month Aug. 5th

"As the North Atlantic hurricane season enters its traditional peak period, the US National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration (NOAA) has adjusted its forecast to take into account ongoing conditions which influence cyclonic activity.

The slightly lowered conditions still favor an above-normal 2022 Atlantic hurricane season, according to NOAA’s annual mid-season update issued today by the Climate Prediction Center, a division of the National Weather Service.

NOAA forecasters have slightly decreased the likelihood of an above-normal Atlantic hurricane season to 60% (lowered from the outlook issued in May, which predicted a 65% chance). The likelihood of near-normal activity has risen to 30% and the chances remain at 10% for a below-normal season.

“We’re just getting into the peak months of August through October for hurricane development, and we anticipate that more storms are on the way,” said NOAA Administrator Rick Spinrad, Ph.D. “NOAA stands ready to deliver timely and accurate forecasts and warnings to help communities prepare in advance of approaching storms.”"

And they say they can predict future climate and our economy, let alone our lifestyles should be based on those predictions.

Climate change is arguably the biggest lie sold to the public. These clowns think that humans can control the weather and climate. It’s all about power. Just another excuse for them to reach into your pocket for more tax dollars so they can line their pockets. It’s unbelievable that people can’t see how grossly over-powered the government is.

More storms than predicted = Climate change
Less storms than predicted= Climate change

This is how they argue it.

Didn't semi-fascist Biden just warn of an impending surge of storms?

Melting Greenland ice sheet could cause devastating sea level rise of nearly a foot.

Sea level has been risen 427 feet over the last 20,000 years. There is no rational reason to think they will stop rising. So, 'if you genuinely expect this to happen, it’s time to tax the blue zones! “If we’re seriously worried about flooding from higher sea levels, then we want to make sure that areas that will be flooded in the future won’t be developed now. We want to limit the investment in buildings that will be swamped, and we want to limit the number of people who’ll have to move. And we want to encourage people who live in those areas now to move away in the near future, before they’re flooded.”

One more day until September, lets see if it lasts.

I'd seen a report that there might be a storm forming, but whether it reaches a tropical storm before September(or at all) was up in the air.

Looks like most of the worlds rivers to me.

Do people really not believe pollution effects the climate? I didn’t realize there were people who didn’t believe it happens.

Of course I do, China is our biggest polluter.

Do you want to raise taxes to fight pollution?

I want to make smart decisions to ensure future generations have the same world as we do with the least harm to our citizens today. Pretending nothing is happening doesn’t do that.

Still nothing compares to the season of 2004.
I lived in Tampa at that time and it was forecast to come right up Tampa Bay. Now I live 100 mi south of Tampa and instead of going up Tampa Bay like they said it took a 90° turn to the right and followed the Peace River right through where I currently live and tore the s*** out of this place. That was hurricane Charley. It was a real son of a b****.

And then Janine and Francis were right behind it

Hurricane Irma came through here on September 10th 2017 and it knocked down big live oak trees all over town and street signs were down and lines were down and a couple of buildings were destroyed but it was nothing like Charlie was.... Or so I am told.

I also saw some footage of post Charlie and it was bad.

But the store where I work never closed for either one of them. Sometimes people come up and ask if we're open I say yes we never close.

Not for Christmas day not for hurricanes or anything else.... Top that Walmart!

But you know you're supposed to live in a perpetual state of fear and anxiety.... Global warming and when that didn't pan out that became climate change....

Covid, inflation and peak oil.... Things to worry about when you can't sleep at 3:00 a.m. and you're staring up at the ceiling...

Well a little advice is those asking for money to produce results, don't trust. What always cracked me up is these guys can't predict the weather but they can climate change and massive weather patterns coming. LOL you got to be pretty feeble minded to believe this stuff.

Maybe, because of OVER POPULATION of the American southwest and allowing MILLIONS of illegals to trespass into America. Human overpopulation is the greatest threat to the Earth, not White Supremacy and Fossil fuels. 7 or 8 billion currently is TOO! much and the Earth and not sustain 9 to 15 Billion without a Mass Die Off

    You left out:

The same number of storms as predicted = Climate change
