I guess my point is --it was his choices that t caused the death. Not because alcohol is legal. He killed someone who he thought was an "extremist". It was a hate crime. The legality of alcohol has nothing to do with this and to bring that into the narrative actually justifies his actions.

A. No witnesses and no videotape/cell phone recordings of what happened. So I can see why no national news outlet would put this in the news when you have Queen Elizabeth's funeral taking up most of the airtime.
B. The suspect has allegedly confessed to the crime and the reason why he did it. The reason may be the suspect's rationalization of why he did it, which may or may not be true.
C. The suspect admits he was drunk, so this may be a pure intoxicated homicide and nothing else.
D. The sensationalism may be with the kid, 17 years old, who may have had political aspirations. But it has no relevance to the facts of the crime.

 

It's not a threat to democracy, it's a crime, pure and simple. It's rare, and its gets sensationalized by either the perpetrator or the victim or victims involved.

 

The guy was drunk, and drunk people say all sorts of things when they are drunk. Drunk people are more agitated than not intoxicated. So, based on that, no hate crime by the State of ND or the Feds.

 

BLM, HRC walking , Hunter walking, 87000 IRS agents, etc.. etc.. seems to be a pattern forming here.
