Oh so not only are banks letting him decide the value of his properties, but now insurance agencies are just letting him tell them how much they're worth.

What a bunch of mindless drivel easily dispelled by simply looking at the mechanisms by which commercial properties get loans and/or insurance.

Apparently Trump can also tell the government how much property taxes are on his properties.

What a bunch of mindless nonsense.

I think he mentioned they were all interviewed in the two year criminal investigation by Cyrus Vance and came up with nothing whom this idiot states AG says she wants to make a referral to. TWO YEARS and nothing.

So she has no criminal case against Trump. She decided to dig deeper for a civil case to appease leftists because midterm is around the corner.

It's actually scarier than that. How can anybody defend him when he basically said it's the lenders' fault (and ours since the rest of us pay for bad loans and bankruptcies) that he's a liar and con artist.

We can all agree that Trump can't claim stupidity about all his tax and banking issues.:roflol:

19 things Donald Trump knows better than anyone else, according to Donald Trump

By Aaron Blake October 4, 2016

    Snip:

    4) Taxes, again
"I think nobody knows more about taxes than I do, maybe in the history of the world.:roflol: Nobody knows more about taxes." — May 2016

I know our complex tax laws better than anyone who has ever run for president and am the only one who can fix them. #failing@nytimes
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 2, 2016

"Nobody knows more about taxes than I do -- and income than I do.” -- May 2016

    5) Banking
"Nobody knows banking better than I do" — February 2016

    6) Wall Street bankers
MATT LAUER: You're a guy who said you know the Wall Street bankers better than anyone.

    TRUMP: Better than anyone.

imo: It's his latest BS just like everything else that comes out of his mouth and anyway it wouldn't exonerate him from his fraudulent schemes that the SDNY has communication evidence of.

    Snips:

"These acts of fraud and misrepresentation were similar in nature, were committed by upper management at the Trump Organization as part of a common endeavor for each annual Statement, and were approved at the highest levels of the Trump Organization -- including by Mr. Trump himself," the lawsuit states."

"Each statement was personally certified as accurate by Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., or Weisselberg, James told reporters on Wednesday.

Trump "made known" that "he wanted his net worth reflected on those statements to increase," James said, "a desire Mr. Weisselberg and others carried out year after year in their fraudulent preparation of those statements."

    You're welcome!

"Accusations and allegations are closely related, but they vary in their typicality of use. While these words are often used interchangeably, accusations tend to refer to claims of one party’s criminal wrongdoing, while an allegation generally refers to claims of wrongdoing that may or may not be criminal but are generally evaluated in civil court. Accusations tend to be used in criminal court after someone has been charged with a crime, whereas allegations is a term that tends to be used in civil court."

This is the 2nd time I've read about Trump having wanted to settle with the SDNY.

Opinion | Trump Made N.Y. Attorney General’s Fraud Case Virtually Unbeatable

"He should have settled early, but he got boxed into taking the Fifth — and that can be used against him now."

"New York Attorney General Tish James raised eyebrows when she refused last-minute settlement overtures from former President Donald Trump. Her 222-page lawsuit filed Wednesday doubles down, asking for wide-ranging penalties against Trump, including $250 million and various bans that would bar Trump and his three oldest children from selling or acquiring real estate or applying for loans in New York for five years — potentially devastating measures for a company that depends on plastering the family name on properties for profit.

It’s not hard to see why James is taking such a hard line. She has a winning hand."

Sour puss AG who couldn't get Trump on criminal suit is desperate enough to file a civil. This will be settled so she can claim victory.

Yah, good article, but we all need to keep the 3 different NY law enforcement groups clear...

Letitia James - AG of NY State - Brought the Civil Case vs Trump et al
Alvin Bragg - DA of Manhattan - Refused to bring a criminal case vs Trump (even though the 2 top prosecutors felt it was warranted)
SDNY (current head = Damian Williams) - Federal entity - Just got criminal referral from James

Trump wanted to settle with James (state AG), not the SDNY, at least in this case. What is the 2nd occurrence you heard about??

You've done nothing for me that I didn't already know, but you effectively dodged answering the actual question. Alleges means they don't have actual proof.

    And now you are welcome.

Usually requiring proof. If James had it, there are several words that wouldn't have been used. James has nothing but a supposition.
