Republicans have an idea who should pay to overhaul the country's infrastructure: average people (msn.com)

While reading the article, here's a key takeaway: The Republicans seem to be at the tax stage of development where Democrats were at in the 1990s. Tax everything!

Don't get me wrong, coming forward to a higher stage of development is a wonderful thing, spend-and-spend Republicans have finally become tax-and-spend Republicans.

But, if we're going to spend money on infrastructure, why should the voters vote Republican? Why do half a job when Democrats are far ahead of things?

Maybe because (R)s will actually earmark all the money for infrastructure. Highways, bridges, the power grid, dams, levees ... things we have that need repair.

    This is a good point......
the G.O.P. is terribly messed up.......
thank God that Trump has began the process of smartening them up.

The value of the U.S.A. dollar is backed up by productivity......
taxation does not create wealth...... but on the other hand taxation is used to keep those who work in servitude to higher and higher and higher levels of compound interest over time..... and the mega - wealthy use foundations and virtually never pay any amount of taxation anyway. Bill Gates pays astonishing little tax..... so does George Soros...... and so many other billionaires.
