Looks like you have proven me correct.
Of course, I am used to it. People at PF prove me correct time after time.
    I accept your surrender.:salute:

Those are hardcore charges. The "interrupting official proceedings" charge should be applied to every leftist that invades a government building in DC.

Why hasn't anyone been charged with participating in an insurrection?

    Hmmmmmm

I'm missing the treason, sedition and insurrection

    • Civil Disorder
    • Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting
    • Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers
    • Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon
    • Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds With a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon
    • Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building
    • Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
Oh and the weapon was a pocket knife that was in his pocket not being brandished.

Because there wasn't one. This is all political persecution and a circus by the democrats. Several thousand protestors showed up to protest a corrupt election. That is the story here but the lefty media and democrats need to distract.

A lot of this seems like charge stacking, a prosecutor charging a defendant with multiple laws, as many separate crimes as possible, for something that was really one thing; that should really only be viewed as a single crime.

There does not seem to be any evidence that this man actually assaulted police officers or committed any specific "crimes" while inside. It seems he was charged because he seemed to be "leading" the mob inside.

It's not so obvious that he should have been charged or convicted of all those things. Seems like the justification for many of those charges involved the concept of "group responsibility".

Of course because it is what you want to hear guilty or not.

Im just about to read it. Prediction- none of the counts are 'insurrection'. Lets find out...

    [edit]
Well I didn't see a list of all 7 counts, but "...The most serious charge against Jensen was obstructing an official proceeding..." so, looks like no insurrection. Again.

It is indeed sad to see people 'toss their lives away over something like this', especially when 'obstructing an official proceeding' is the same charge the Kavanaugh protesters got, tho they were only held for a few hours and paid a $35 fine...

This is one of the dumbest mistakes people make on this board.
If you begin with "so you are saying .................." or something similar, just back up and think of a way to rephrase it without changing the meaning of the original statement. If you have something to say, say it, but don't rephrase what another person is saying.

Out of the thousands of protestors who showed up that day I would expect there to be a few trouble makers.

I'm missing the treason, sedition and insurrection, can't you point me to those guilty charges?
