Voters know who to vote for if they desire PROSPERITY:

GOP Leads Democrats in Favorability, Handling Nation's Prosperity

After watching Biden and the Dems ravish, run over and destroy the Golden Goose of American Prosperity, voters now prefer that the GOP be in charge of prosperity by +10.

'Republicans’ favorability rating clocked in 5 percentage points higher than Democrats’, according to a new Gallup poll, bucking a historical trend in which Democrats typically have the edge.'

As too many Democrats sound barking mad, voters are noticing that the Democrat Party is no longer who they used to view favorably on these issues.

'The new poll is the third time Republicans have seen a higher favorability rating than Democrats in the past decade, a potential' sledgehammer to the head of Dems fading hopes of holding 'their razor-thin congressional majorities in the upcoming midterm elections.'

How badly have Biden and Dems destroyed the voters trust in them?

'Democrats’ favorability in the new survey is the worst for the party since March 2015 and 12 percentage points lower than their historical average.'

'Republicans hold a 20-point advantage when pollsters asked respondents who would do a better job protecting the U.S. from terrorism and military threats.'

'A majority of respondents — 51 percent — suggested Republicans are better able to keep the country prosperous, tying the highest on record for the party and representing a 10-point lead over Democrats.'

The 41% of folk who think Dems are better is probably significantly contributed to by government workers.

BIDEN AND THE DEMS DESPERATELY TRYING TO REFOCUS OFF OF FALLING WAGES AND SOARING INFLATION

'The polling comes as Americans express anxiety about inflation that recently hit a 40-year high.'

Just 36 days and you will have the opportunity to vote for the economy you desire!

I was merely trying to point out an example of a Third World country where people threw off corrupt, tin-pot dictators who were tyrants, and, very often, stooges for corporate interests in the U. S. It's not flattering to America that we did this kind of thing routinely in Nicaragua for years, but the important thing is that the PEOPLE banded together to throw the dictators and us out of dominance.

Today? If they don't like Noriega, they'll throw him out, too, but evidently he's still highly-regarded by a lot of Nicaraguan citizens. At any rate, as I said, they don't seem to be massing in 'caravans' to assault our southern border just because they want a 'better life', which is not ours to give them anyway!

You don't GIVE them anything for free except rhe necessities to live.
But you do give real opportunity...something they don't have at home. and that is free.

Honestly, I realize now that we are at an impasse regarding what any country should feel compelled to give to illegal aliens or those migrants who try to use fraud, lies, and illegal methods to 'short-cut' the "asylum" provision.

You are, no doubt, a much nicer person than I am... but I'm one American citizen who cares about my own fellow citizens more than any migrants. No apologies for that....

    TIME TO VOTE!

These deep blue seats could flip red in November’s midterm elections. “Fung is one of a handful of GOP congressional nominees across the country who have a good shot at winning long-time Democrat held House seats in solidly blue states.”

'Republicans need a net gain of just five seats in the 435-member House of Representatives to win back the majority.'

'It’s been more than 30 years since a Republican’s won a House election in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District, which covers the western half of the nation’s smallest state. But Republican congressional nominee Allan Fung is aiming to break the losing streak in Novembers' midterm elections.'

What kind of economy would we have if accounting/finance had been mandatory in the schools since Sputnik?

Please note I said TWICE that I am opposed to illegal migration.
And that I don't recognise much of any impact on the lives of Americans from legal migration. How do they reduce the quality of your lives? The British also had the impression they adversely affected the indigenous population until thousands went home, leaving crops rotting in fields, dirtier hospitals and far fewer nurses and restaurants/coffee shops .
The country is now trying to lure them back but they prefer to go somewhere else given the way they were treated.
They may start in low paid jobs but the jobs are necessary to our way of life.
And they are working so that their children can do better. But migrants are some of the most aspirational people anywhere.

And, for my part, I have said several times that I am not 'anti-immigration' -- so long as all requirements for it to be done LEGALLY are observed to the letter of the law. Perhaps, then, we are not in fundamental disagreement after all.

I don't know the particulars of what Britain's situation with migrants is, or what they should do. I do feel, strongly, that over here in the U. S., we should put an air-tight moratorium on all immigration into our country for a 'cooling-off' period of at least five years so that we can deal with the problems caused by hundreds of thousands of migrants pouring in here, many in a way that was anything but legal....

Next, you may be tempted to ask, "What problems?" And all I can reply is that surely even in rural France you can easily read news story after news story about all the crime caused directly and indirectly by illegal aliens and other 'migrants' over here in America. It has risen to the level of a full-blown crisis, Pixie, and our ruling liberal-Democrat regime is dong nothing useful to stop any of it!

Surely you have the resources to deal with illegal immigration while still processing legal migrants.
I mean who will be included in your moratorium? Will you still allow white people with European accents in or just brown skinned people who speak Spanish? What if they are Spanish scientists or British sportspeople who get college sponsorships?
7nder what law are you going to close your borders against Canadians or Germans?
Maybe that is why your government hasn't done anything so impossible

We'll start with simply reclosing the border to illegal entry and enforcing the laws passed by our Elected Representatives.

And the election is looking pretty damned good. As the OP points out, we will get the economy we vote for, we are voting for Prosperity, not Austerity.

    Nevada Laxalt (R) +2.2
    Arizona Kelly (D) +4.0
    Wisconsin Johnson (R) +3.0
    Pennsylvania Fetterman (D) +4.3
    Georgia Warnock (D) +1.3
    North Carolina Budd (R) +1.5
    New Hampshire Hassan (D) +7.6
    Colorado Bennet (D) +9.0
    Washington Murray (D) +8.7
    Ohio Vance (R) +1.2
    Florida Rubio (R) +4.0

Right now we are trading PA for NV, but, we need 1 more for control. Control could easily come down to GA.

But, the House is looking very good for us. The GOP has led nearly every Likely Voter poll since Biden's insane Pitts of Hell Semi-Fascist speech in PA where his handlers overdosed him on Adderall to try to make him coherent and he turned into a shrieking lunatic.

Well I personally don't care about your elections but I do know that your border, like all orher borders, are closed to illegal migration.
The problem isn't closing the border. The problem is policing it.
Europe has had this problem for a very long time, boats and trekking overland being the popular migration routes.
If you can temporarily close the border, you should be able to close it permanently to illegal migration. The process is the same.
