As our national debt surpassed a whopping $31 trillion, I have to wonder when the American people are going to acknowledge that 1) Washington has a SPENDING PROBLEM and 2) we have to do something about it?

    U.S. Debt Clock
    https://usdebtclock.org

In case you were wondering, unfunded liabilities are now at $171.7 trillion.

Looking back, I vividly recall this pathological liar BS'ing the American people about how they didn't need a constitutional amendment to do their jobs

and it was a lie then and remains a lie today.

As we surpass this horrific milestone, it's about time we put an end to the lying in Washington about how "we don't need a constitutional amendment to do our jobs". The nomenklatura and apparatchiks in Washington DO need a constitutional amendment to do their jobs, and clearly we are going to have to force Democrats and Republicans to do their jobs. A BBA would be a step in that direction.

Its far too late to honestly solve this problem.

Thats why the US govt is starting to monetize the debt through inflation. They want inflation. Thats what all countries try to do when their debt is unmanageable, they monetize the debt through inflation.

Was this before him and his fellow Demokrats plundered $800 billion from the American people?

*Correction: He took office in 2021.

Meh, it's only $88,571.43 for every man, woman, and child ($354,285.71 for a family of 4).

I predict lots of campaign promises followed by more of the same once elected.

Followed by repetitive lies of how well the economy has done under Democrat control with more promises of more free gifts from the treasury

We could cut government employees 10% overnight and still have way too many people doing too little work. How about a new rule: For every dollar in additional spending, $3 must be cut!

That was Trumps campaign promise to which I was fairly pissed he did not follow through on. However, I so agree. Government is WAY to big and under Democrat rule, is only going to expand exponentially.

I'm cool with that. I've got another idea:

No one has to pay their personal income taxes until an itemized budget is passed.

A large part of the problem concerning the runaway spending and the inability to hold Swamp Critters responsible for their fiscal irresponsibility involves their refusal to pass a budget. That crap needs to end.

    Nice.

I think I'll pass on calculating everyone's share of the $171 trillion in unfunded liabilities hanging over our heads....

EDIT: Well, what the heck - the national debt plus unfunded liabilities comes to $487,142.87 for every man, woman, and child ($1,948,571.46 for a family of four).

The debt is grown on purpose. That's how rich people get richer. The whole system is just a giant illusion anyway, based on nothing but belief. It's a big global shell game. Without debt growing, rich people stop getting richer. It will never stop until the whole thing collapses. There was never any intention of the debt getting paid off. Quite the opposite.
