The police also admitted their was a lack of evidence so to say it’s a single party investigation is not accurate. Duke College has not changed their position which I don’t have much to say about. They have produced no evidence to the contrary and had no investigation at all. I’ll trust the side that done the footwork alongside the police rather than the side that just threw out high school rumors.

BYU or cops saying they didn't hear the heckling is not evidence of anything, but its enough to drop the action against the alleged heckler (no evidence against him). Duke stands by their player because they heard it or believe their player heard it. Them saying they heard it is not evidence either. So, what's the big deal? Maybe it happened, or maybe it didn't. Its BYU word against Duke word.

It is evident that their was no heckling. They also looked at body language if you read all the articles

Let’s look at how Oregon handled this situation

    https://www.fox13now.com/news/local...fensive-chant-during-byu-oregon-football-game

first of all of the Duke college claim was true and the person called her racial names every time she served I’m sure it would have been caught on camera like this one was. BYU also tried to punish the person until it was found that there was no evidence and likely didn’t happen. When Oregon was presented with clear video evidence what did they do? Absolutely nothing. No schools threatening to not play Oregon, no suspension, no banning from games.

when looked at side by side, BYU done much better.

Not only that, but it was a fan and not even a player, they banned that fan (without any evidence besides the accusation itself) and still other teams won't play this one?

Do you tell the black population this term is offensive as well or just white people? If so you are the true bigot

Shouldn't the burden be on whoever claims it is true? Doesn't the opposite logic invite witch trials?

Social interactions 101: Mexicans call each other "beaner" all the time, now you call a Mexican a beaner and see how it goes.

And Latinos routinely call each other "fat" (cordioto / cordita), even if you have just little beer belly.

So you are a bigot. You believe people are entitled to different actions and consequences per their race. You sir, are most definitely the bigoted one in this conversation.

social interactions… interesting you bring that up. At one time it was socially acceptable and a common social interaction for whites to call blacks the word you say is so offensive. It was even common for black folk to not be offended by this action. You see “edna”, social interactions change. They changed because blacks thought that word was offensive so we as civilized people changed our social expectations of ourselves. The irony in it all is the black community would not do the same of themselves. If it were so offensive you sure would imagine they would. I mean… as civilized people and all.
