Source In my personal opinion, I think this a fast track way to end a Democracy. I would think this would make it nearly impossible to ensure election integrity if you don't even know the status of the person voting in the election. How can anyone find this a good policy?
This insane act devalues American citizenship. Is there any point of even trying to go through the process of becoming an American citizen when non citizens and illegals get all the benefits of citizenship and none of the responsibilities?
Why not just combine voting machines with ATMs and pay them for their votes directly! If these people voted for the other side, not a single damn would be given for their families and businesses.
So you believe in taxation without representation. Hmmmm.... I wonder what our forefathers thought about that. The fast track way to end Democracy is to make up a Big Lie about the elections being stolen and then have the most extremist of your followers blindly repeat it. NOT voting for who's going to be on your kid's school board.
So an illegal comes here, buys a gallon of gas which includes taxes, and now he can vote? The fast track to democracy is to open the borders and allow those who cross the ability to decide what rules you and I live under. Regarding the big lie about elections being stolen, you are aware, aren’t you, that phrase was originally coined for Clinton and then Abrams.
Even worse! Quote where I said anything about illegals who just buy gas. Or ADMIT that you made it up! Which, we all know, you did! And a pretty dumb piece of fiction...
You said taxation without representation. Do illegals buy things that are taxed? So now an illegal buys a 30 pack of cerveza and pays taxes on it, he can now vote. What’s the point of coming here legally and going through the process of becoming a citizen?
Why would it get out of hand? It has been happening for years in many places already, and it hasn't gotten out of hand.
That is brain-dead nonsense. You're talking about indirect taxes. Clearly you don't understand what "taxation without representation" means, do you? It's sad to see how education about U.S. history is definitely lacking especially on the right. Not to mention complete ignorance about tax law. Indirect sales taxes are PASSED to the consumer, but are paid by the seller.
Democrats have been screaming of stolen elections for decades. Your argument is so 2000. You also keep flaunting the term "taxation without representation", yet I truly don't think you really understand what it means. Please point to where is states this in the constitution or bill of rights? I'll wait.
It's basically states rights. Do the people who are against this want the big bad federal government to come in a put a stop to it?
It's why they're dead set against voter ID. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with disenfranchised minorities having a hard time getting ID. They don't want any obstacles in the way of their pet illegals voting
So you believe if individuals sneak into the country illegally, they are owed all the same privilege's of the individuals who went through the process of legal citizenship. Hmmmm.... I wonder how the people who did it legally feel about that. Didn't we already see the Big Lie when Democrats faked information and a 3 year investigation claiming the Russians rigged the election. Or when Hillary went on her 2 year book tour claiming the Russians rigged the election Or with Brazile claimed her Georgia election was rigged? Or does it only count when a Republican claims it?
And btw, the argument is nonsensical in merit as the president just imposed an $800 billion tax on the citizens of this country without any representation.
What nonsense! Why would a philosophical principle that led us to become independent be in the Constitution? Is it possible that there is such a huge hole in the right regarding education about our history? If you believe that there should be taxation without representation, then you oppose this bill. If, like our forefathers, you believe there should NOT be, then you are in favor. It's that simple! There is NOTHING for or against it in the Constitution
What is non-sense is you continue to flaunt the phrase, yet turn a blind eye when your party taxes its citizenry without representation. Many might call that hypocrisy.
Anytime I like to Democrats tell you if they don't want a legal to vote and they don't want your guns they are lying to you
Yes non citizens have voted, but I prefer only citizens to vote. That aside, I don't understand why people don't vote. Here in the USA the turnout is under 65% and worse. I actually enjoy it.
Doen't matter. DC will vote straight Democrat anyway so if the haves in DC want to let the have nots increase their property taxes, go ahead. No skin off my back.
