So perhaps you will explain why a mass switch to EVs will not cause supply issues with Lithium? There is one lithium mine in the US.

Also, fossel fuel will always be something required in large quantities - at least during our lifetime. There are major environmental concerns with lithium mining. Concerns that seem a lot more serious than the environmental impact of fracking for gas and oil.

A lot of products made from oil and natural gas:

Some pretty cool advancements to be honest. Never doubt innovation and good ol desire.

Why is that important to you? I don’t give a crap either way, it’s not my war to win or lose. In fact, the world would be more stable if the war ended tomorrow, but Biden, the foreign policy expert, isn’t even hinting that he’s trying to negotiate an end to it, same with the UN.

Freeze all arms, industrial machinery, food and pharmaceutical sales to the Saudis until they raise production to where we want it. Kick 'em right in the huevos... [IMG]

Products made from oil are not the major user of oil compared with cars.

Again, an again, this hiccup in supply will not stop. Yeah, oil producers want the price lower, so they'll produce more. :)

My reason to go to an EV will be the availabiity of a car costing less than 30K with a range of close to 400 miles in the WInter and I live in a State that gets cold. That and of course the infrastructure of 500,000 charging stations that Biden is going to build. Of course, cheap battery replacement, and the ability to get repairs at other than a dealer would be consideration. So when do you think this will be available?

They are already available. There are web sites that map out charging stations. Cars with ICE are not all fuel efficient. If you choose to wait until that functional requirement exists that's your decision.

Not nearly as bad as the American people. No leader has done more damage to the American working and middle class in American history. If Americans think things are awful now, we are still on the top of the slide. This trainwreck is not close to being over and Biden keeps pouring gasoline on it. Thank God the power will be completely stripped from him in two months and we can stop him from repeatedly knifing our economy in the back. Impeachment is a given, we can pray for removal for him and his vice-President and replacement with the House Speaker who will be Republican.

Give it up. The left has been told the planet is going to die, a boy can become a girl, a man can get pregnant, the border is secure, our economy is booming, Putin won't mess with Biden, white nationalists are the most lethal threat to the country, a fetus isn't a living thing yet an eagle's egg is, and so on. They've been totally brainwashed.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Biden guaranteed he'd end the use of fossil fuels. Why are he and his lackeys fretting about this now, isn't this what they wanted?

Seems more like some of these other Countries throw Biden over a barrel without hesitation.

Inside the White House’s failed effort to dissuade OPEC from cutting oil production to avoid a ‘total disaster.’

Biden and the Dems gave away our hole card when they viciously attacked our Domestic Energy Sector. Good Leadership could give us back this key leverage.

'The Biden administration' vainly 'launched a full-scale pressure campaign in a last-ditch effort to dissuade Middle Eastern allies from' dramatically cutting oil production, and failed more miserably than Hunter trying to work through a hangover.

'The international cartel of oil producers' affirmed the helpless position Biden/Dems put us in as they announced a significant cut to output 'in an effort to raise oil prices. That will cause US gasoline prices to rise at a precarious time for the Biden administration, just five weeks before the midterm elections', they continue to claim that supply shortages are not the cause of increasing prices.

'OPEC+ oil ministers meeting in Vienna' completely humiliated Biden by agreeing to 'even larger production cut than the White House had feared — 2 million barrels per day, beginning in November.'

Gee, if only American Producers were ramping up to fill the demand and ram these cartel actions right back down their throats.

'Some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department on Monday that were obtained by CNN framed the prospect of a production cut as a “total disaster” and warned that it could be taken as a “hostile act.”'

So this asshat, rather than supporting out domestic energy, which makes foreign energy irrelevant, is going to threaten the foreign suppliers?

'The White House is “having a spasm and panicking.” This latest administration effort is “taking the gloves off.”'

Yeah? It doesn't look like Joe scared them.

“We’ve been clear that energy supply should meet demand to support economic growth and lower prices for consumers around the world and we will continue to talk with our partners about that.”

Gee, if only we had the largest untapped oil reserves in the world.... wait, we do!

    33 days until the election!

That's so because after a whole string of dumb international incidents fascist Donald attempted a coup to go forth with it.
There is still a good chance that he could win the next elections.
Because of that, the US looks more like a fail state, where you expect such things.
All the respect for the US is gone.

Uhh huh, trump trump trump. Fact Saudi's listened to Trump, Fact Russia didn't invade while Trump was President, Fact Trump stood up to China with tariffs, Fact Trump told Europe NOT TO RELY on Russia for oil, Fact N. Korea stopped lobbing missiles over allies, and fact he drew down troops and the Taliban didn't attempt a takeover. By every account Trump did a much better job Internationally, you got to be one partisan individual not to recognize that.

Trump executed a high ranking Iranian who fought against ISIS for no reason. As a reprisal Iran gave a heads up that they would bomb the hell out of multiple American military complexes in Iraq. And to the absolute chock of the world, they executed that with the upmost precision by flatting it all without any casualties of US soldiers cowering right next to the total destruction. Something Israel have failed to do for decades. And Trump bowed down to that military might of Iran like a little child.
Trump also bowed down to the Taliban, making the deal to run away with their tail between their legs handing over Afghanistan to them.
Trump tried to sweeten a deal with North Korea to let them give up their nuclear powers, which totally failed because among things China wasn't on board. I wonder why.
Trump asked Putin if he did not interfere in the 2016 elections, and like a total fool took his word for it, while his own secret service was openly disputing it. That gave the world a good laugh.
Trump looked like a total idiot in the eyes of the rest of the world, when he backtracked out of the Kyoto deal which is about reducing CO2.
Trump took up the trade deficit against China, but failed to fix the deficit as a whole. Companies simply switched to other cheap labor nations. Currently, the trade deficit has never been higher.
    https://realeconomy.rsmus.com/chart-of-the-day-u-s-trade-deficit-nears-90-billion-a-record/
Trump got the Saudi's to listen, because he sold them the means to commit genocide in Yemen by starving them to death which they did. I doubt the world supported it.

Trump was in the eyes a total idiot for the rest of the world.
The worst decision was to have his son-in-law to be his advisor, an idiot with zero experience in foreign affairs and diplomacy. His plan to fix the Jew-Palestinian conflict was a total joke, by cutting up Palestine in dozens of small area's surrounded by the IDF who controlled everybody and everything going in and out... as a way to let Palestine be an "independent nation",... while it's a copy past plan from the South African apartheid era! Oh yeah, that really made Trump look like a capable politician in the eyes of the world.

Oil is up $4 more per barrel today and steadily climbing. They're giving the middle finger to Biden because he ran on the message of ending fossil fuels, effing idiot. Now we're about to be fighting extremely high gas prices, AGAIN, along with record inflation.
