Regarding income inequity, I would never expect to see such a thing being allowed to happen in a blue state, this is one of the lefts red meat issues. That $34k sounds about right tho I'm not sure where they got their net worth numbers from. the q3 net worth numbers won't come out till December, but as of last June we were down around $24K:

BTW, shelters have plenty of empty beds. Shelters do not allow drugs or alcohol, so many prefer the streets.

Like I said, you've used this argument before and the problem is that, yeah, your links "prove" your point but the actual FACT is that to get there they bend the normal parameters of how poverty is actually figured. You are welcome to cling to your false fact to win a point but, like anything statistical, you can find the opposite side to win the argument and in this case your examples are not the norm.

 

I wish I could lose this argument and someone could show me how people are thriving under this rule. You can't leave out the main factor in poverty and use it as truth. If we could ignore the cost of living, I am a multi trillionarire in Zimbabwe.

 

Biden's handlers might be prolonging the war in corrupt Ukraine because, in chaos lies opportunity. The best way to give your buddies 10 million is to give them no-show bit parts in a 10 billion dollar deal. And the best way to give your self and/or your family 1 million is to ask your 10 million dollar buddy for a cut. But, let's be honest, Biden isn't likely to be making any of these decisions himself.

People leave it out because it's NOT the main factor in poverty. The people you're talking about are living in 500000 dollar homes with all the conviences they want compared to the actual poor in Appalachia. That's how their thriving. You have lost.
