If God is the source for nature, then brain dead people would dead without human intervention. These are very difficult ethical questions, but the point I made about limited resources stands.

Who should get medical care? Should it be a child with their life ahead of them or a person at the end of their life? I have heard said that we have the capacity to die well. Stretching things out artificially only adds to the pain.

My mother lived to be 96, but I would not have given you a nickel for last two years. Her mind was gone. She could speak and didn’t know where she was. My father was totally depressed and worried about death for his last two years. He was 83.

No, it’s good to accept things when it’s your time. That is especially truth if you have no quality of life.

 

I'm 71 soon. I am enjoying the hell out of retirement. I stopped worrying about dying long ago. I was a career Soldier. I always thought I'd take a bullet long before this. I am not worried about death at all. I do worry about reaching a time when I'll be drooling on myself wondering what my name is. But even then, I'll get to meet new people every day.

My heath care plan got alot more expensive after Obama, I think it sucks. And I stand by him being black shielded him from lots of criticism and negative press. If he was truly popular as president his endorsement would have carried weight, which it did not.

Personally I would prefer not running controlled opposition candidates for the dem party anymore, but I can certainly understand why you miss those good ol days.

 

It is the GOP's determination what sort of candidates they want to run.

In 2022, Trump picked some real beauties for it, didn't he? After his having lost the Party the House, the Presidency, and the Senate in a single term, you would think Republicans would have found a better approach to picking its candidates.

more than 12,000 ballots that were delivered in the mail on Wednesday and nearly 57,000 ballots that were put in roughly 300 drop boxes on Election Day.

There were still thousands of ballots also streaming in to Nevada’s second-largest county, Washoe, which includes Reno.

CNN estimates there are about 120,000 outstanding ballots in Nevada.

In Nevada, voters who made a technical mistake on their mail-in ballot will have the opportunity to “cure” it – meaning correct it – until November 15, a week after Election Day.

 

Florida had mail-in ballots too... and had no problem. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a horrible thing. Next you'll be blaming him for heavy traffic and splinters.
