Indeed. I know I have my scoffers, but I do take the time to watch US stuff, including interviews of ordinary MAGAs attending Humpty's circuses. I never cease to be a amazed at how deluded those people are. Just totally bizarre....completely off the planet.

I agree, wish trump would go away, I am seeing even Republicans start to express that, that is a good sign

Well, now we have to see how he performs in the Senate for the people of Pennsylvania. Like it or not, this is our state's choice and we must swallow this awful medicine.

Election Day needs to be a holiday, and maybe a two day holiday.

They have to get very serious about it now. I am stunned Humpty fooled so many Americans, but I am delighted that they are now onto the arzehole for what he is.

Lesson for Maga Republicans in Arizona. They still love John McCain. You cannot attack him and win.

They can't do that unless someone on the court retires or dies, or if they expand the number of justices, which they can't or won't do for various reasons.

Apologies for the whataboutism, but this is relevant to your comment: Didn't Republicans already do that?

Republicans filled already made vacancies, here as you suggest the Democrats could and likely will make a move to expand the Court. Why? Roe V Wade is what they were elected on. It's their legacy movement, they will do anything to codify it.

Republicans need to drop the ‘Stain Refrain’….”the election was stolen, T**** is the real president “, etc. That lie has worn thin…

California has 40 million people, in 52 congressional districts. Their results haven't been on time in my entire life. The same probably goes for Texas and New York. This nonsense of expecting election results on election night comes straight from one of Trump's favorite whines. It only raises uncertainty for those with little voting experience, bad memories, or mush between the ears.

Sometimes they can project results accurately, but the last few elections have had many races that were just too close to call for days.

All I'm saying is that a pause in the count(apparently in Philly due to sueing for a paper-count that'll take longer.) simply cannot fester much confidence in people. No matter how we insult people who lack said confidence. We need a uniform voting system, and we need one pronto that we all agree upon.

A very accurate assessment. The whole 'big steal' narrative is one of the best examples of motivated reasoning & confirmation bias you will ever see on a large scale. Lots of people who are intelligent enough to get the right answer consistently getting the wrong one because that is what they choose to believe.

If you really believe that, you should consider visiting and potentially emigrating to one of the many autocracies in the world. There are so many to choose from. North Korea, Venezuela, Egypt, Syria, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, Afghanistan, Yemen, Cuba, and so on. Truly each one a wonderland of both freedom and prosperity.

I'll give you several of these countries for being brutally mismanaged. And some of them have unique cases, namely Russia and China have like 2 to 3 times the size square meter of the US. That's why China has its hunger issues every often, and the Russians lack market liquidation and simply sell their oil to the nearest bidder. You fix those issues, or mitigate them and both countries could make a bounce back.

Furthermore, the US with our literacy and mathematics ratings going down several scores fold has literally no right to criticize anyone else, given the state of our politics.

The SCOTUS does not codify laws. Congress does that. And as someone who marched for my 4th Amendment rights back in pre-Roe days, I think that codification should have been done the first time that Democrats held the majorities post 1972.

"Movement." Horseshit. This is a barefaced beg for cash.

I love how the outcome will be God's choice.........provided she wins.

Is there ANYONE here who falls for this frogshit?

The issue is that Congress lacks the votes and for as many who want these rights, there are others who don't. It's a divisive wedge issue that needs a compromise that neither party is willing to give.

My mistake, I thought you were pro state's rights.

How do you expect the federal government to standardize voting methods where they have no constitutional right to do so? Not that they haven't before, but really, I did think that you favored each state's right to make their own laws, as long as those laws don't violate the constitution.
