It’s looking iffy. The Republicans seem to be stuck at 211 seats, while the Democrats are at 199 and gaining. The longer it takes to get results, the more it favors the Democrats. If the Democrats get the majority, plus the Senate, which now looks likely, the far left will run wild.

Then you shift the debate away from the actual argument and focus on the one making the argument. That's considered committing a fallacy in debates.

So the Republican MAGA dudes who screamed and ranted and raved about the government interference in citizen's lives over having
to wear a mask, suddenly can't understand why people would vote against the Republicans who campaigned on
interfering in citizen's lives (abortion bans) ... well, color me surprised. The lack of self awareness is astounding.

The GOP overperformed the polls. The Final RCP Generic Ballot average was GOP +2.5 Right now we are at GOP +4.7%

We out performed our 2020 percentage of the vote and we have increased our vote numbers by over a million votes since the last midterms. Dems on the other hand, are MINUS 13,000,000 from 2018.

I think Dems are in a long term decline because of all things you list: 'recession with a 40-year-high inflation and skyrocketing gas prices'

They just flipped a US Senate seat, due to mail-in ballots, and we still have not taken over the House at the time of this writing. I'll feel better if, IF, we take over the House. Right now, that is up in the air.

You predicted a re-election for Trump and two years later, a bloodbath for the Dems in the midterms.

Americans have been voting overwhelmingly for the liberal candidate in the WH for 15 years.

Since Trump, Georgia and Arizona are blue.

But even so, the Dems are in decline...that's obvious.

Fake News. The GOP candidates out polled the Democrat candidates by nearly 5,000,000 so far in the election, with counting continuing.
You're down 13,000,000 votes from the last mid term, and the GOP are up. If you want to call that Dems inclining while the GOP declines, it's a free country, knock yourself out.

    Democrats have the winning policies:

    $5 gas
    Cowardly retreat from Afghanistan
    Arming the Taliban
    Closing schools and businesses
    Restricting travel
Killing babies by closing baby formula manufacturing
    9.6% inflation
and on and on and on....

Why would anyone not vote for Dems?

    They aren't winning.

Compare the vote totals from 2018 midterms to this one.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_United_States_House_of_Representatives_elections

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/elections/live_results/2022/house/

I think Dems worked the election season better, they work the neighborhoods and they get their votes banked long before election day. We have been holding our votes until election day, and then if there is an election day problem, like AZ saw, our voters may not get their votes banked.

I was excited to see that Kemp is putting his organization, his donors and his registered voter lists to work in the Walker Runoff. Let's see how that works. We may see the solution in action that we all need to embrace.

Are the results no longer fraud?

Anyway, I'm glad if for you these midterms are a victory for the Conservatives.

It's just that we don't have the same definition of victory.

Well, as of now you lost the popular vote by 4.6% and you've lost 7 seats, if that's the definition of "winning",
how is gaining 7 seats and winning the popular vote by 4.6%, "losing"?

Because you can vote for a Republican representative and a Democratic senator on the same ballot.

However, I relish the immense irony that you are using today's election results to demonstrate the supposed strength of the GOP when you lavishly spread the Big Lie on this forum when Trump was kicked out by the voters.

You are proving in spite of yourself that the election deniers only see fraud when the Democrats win.

I'm no more interested in Trump's faith than I was in Carter's, but I didn't witness him using it as a means of winning the religious vote.

That explains why Dems are losing the popular vote by 4.7 million votes and have lost 7 seats so far?

In 2018 Dems got 60,572,245 votes.
    Currently, Dems only have 47,501,273

What happened to Dems? Where did all your voters go?
Endless counting, counting, counting, until the Dem takes the lead and the results are promptly finalized? Looks terrible, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's wait for first hand reports from whistleblowers.

Maybe you are right and there will be no such reports. I'm fine with patiently waiting for the truth to come out.

Right now the GOP remains stuck at 212 and leads in 9 of the open contests, but, nearly all of those are close enough to steal, and everyone knows exactly how many votes need to be 'found' to steal them. So, we'll see.

You guys claim we are semi-Nazi's, a threat to democracy, if not outright terrorists, would it even be an immoral act to steal an election from such nazi/terrorists/threats to democracy, or does justice and fairness demand that such a theft?

Question for you: *Do you agree that it would be immoral to steal any election from any Republican?*

This time, they voted for a Republican representative.

In 2024, they will overwhelmingly vote for a Democratic President... as they have for the past 15 years.
    Of course.

But you still have to prove that there was a theft.

Because when you cry conspiracy when you don't have the slightest evidence to support your claims, the voters will punish you.

    As they just did.

Voters 'punished us' by giving us 4,675,206 MORE votes than Democrats, but,
Voters 'rewarded' Democrats by giving them 4,675,206 FEWER votes than Republicans?

    Whatever.

I see you refused to answer whether it was even immoral for a Democrat to steal an election from a Republican, which, answers it.
