(I had to abbreviate "education" to "ed." in the title to fit in the character limit)

That's a pretty big "oops" there Governor. Pretty sleazy of the education department to try to stealth edit their curriculum to align with the Governor Lamont's lie during the debate. I'm glad they got caught in the act, and now this story is going to get WAY more views than something simple like an honest fact check would have.

Third through fifth grade, are you friggin kidding me?

Connecticut’s curriculum for third- through fifth-graders initially required teachers to explain "common human sexual development and the role of hormones (e.g., romantic and sexual feelings, masturbation, mood swings, timing of pubertal onset)" as well as to describe "how people are similar and different (e.g., sexual identity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, etc.)."

The curriculum for sixth- through eighth-graders changed, too, having previously required teachers to explain "sexual activity and their associated risks (i.e., vaginal, anal, oral)" as well as "the significance of the physical changes in puberty and the potential role of hormone blockers on young people who identify as transgender."

We shall groom them on the beaches, we shall groom them on the playgrounds, we shall room in the locker rooms and classrooms, we shall groom in the libraries; we shall never surrender!

This a vile vicious and evil attack on our most vulnerable population, our children, and much of the table is being set for this in public schools.

THERE DOESN’T SEEM TO BE MUCH “MAY” ABOUT IT: Puberty Blockers May Have Severe Long-term Effects on Kids.

'Recent studies provide evidence on the effects of puberty blockers on kids, a field where hitherto there has been little to no long-term data or research. And the results are sobering. It turns out trying to tamper with natural biology has bad and sometimes permanent long-term consequences.'

Maturing from a physiological child to an adult is a natural progression that when tampered with appears to result in real and horrible avoidable life-long harm.

'The New York Times published an in-depth piece seeking to answer the question: “They Paused Puberty, but Is There a Cost?” The cost not only comes in delayed sexual development but in serious effects such as permanently retarded bone growth, infertility, and potential retarded brain development.'

“Many physicians in the United States and elsewhere are prescribing blockers to patients at the first stage of puberty — as early as age 8 — and allowing them to progress to sex hormones as soon as 12 or 13,” the Times said (emphasis added). But yet, “the United States had produced no data on the impact or safety of blockers, particularly among transgender patients under 12.” There are 300,000 “trans” young Americans between the ages of 13 and 17, the Times reported, and an unknown number younger than that. That’s a whole lot of children potentially seeking these treatments. So puberty blockers were being used on kids as young as eight, with no data on the safety and side effects? How is that allowed?"

    Good question.

Big Pharma said sign em up. The treatments are expensive as all get out, and of course without parental consent, insurance will still cover the costs... Talk about a huge windfall and medical welfare for a minority of democratic voters....

Why do you feel Republicans are doing this? Typically with the help of religious organizations.

Just as with any other D v R bad things comparison we have an absolutely massive disparity between frequency, impact, and acceptability. Catholic Church pedo history vs the nation wide, government supported effort to groom. 6Jan riots vs the 1000+ riots of the left. Couple dozen proud boy style violent terrorists vs millions of the same acting under the prog flag. One side does something it gets caught, it gets chastised, it gets prosecuted. The other side, the left side, does the same stuff, they do it in thousands of times magnitude, they do it with political corporate and media support.

Why would you compare the entire nation in child rape to one single organization? Unless you were trying to defend them that is.

Last I checked religious organizations dwarfed public school entities for this mainly because teachers go to prison while priests were just moved to a new location.

The 1/6 sedition was worse because it was attempting to dismantle democracy whereas the riots were mostly trying to get free ****.

If you cannot understand what the differences are…

Pedo's don't want children to know much about sex, it makes it EASIER to groom them.

The more kids know about sex, the more likely they are to recognize someone trying to groom them.

So much ignorance on this topic.

Its not a comparison, that's my point. Whatever bad evil terrible no good thing you can lay at the feet of the right, deserved or not true or not, we can find that the left has done the exact same thing to the tune of 1000x more often and whereas the Republican party doesn't make such things part of their platform, the Democratic party does.

It’s your opinion that it is 1000x worse.

You have expressed that gay characters is worse than child rape and that people stealing tvs is worse than trying to destroy a democracy.

    I disagree
