What has been done to prevent future pandemics like Covid-19 from happening?

There are 2 main theories on the origins of the Coronavirus. Instead of arguing which one is correct why don't we as a world community do something to prevent both of them from causing us trouble in the future? Let's close or at least restrict somehow Asian wet markets selling wild and exotic animals and also put in place some additional safety measures in laboratories dealing with dangerous viruses.

You just don't know. Judging from your post, you do not yet know that you were duped by Fauci & Co. You seem unaware of the facts discovered and elaborated upon by David E. Martin and the records of the US Patent Office and elsewhere.

You don't realize this was a planned event beginning at least 20 years ago.

 

Well, many States have sworn to never ask people to wear masks again, close schools, or take any other measures to avoid mass infections, and by doing that they have made it nearly impossible to control any future pandemics of epidemics. So, we have done the opposite of preventing future pandemics.

But here is the point. Mask mandates and lock downs even if they worked (which they don't) cause a lot of inconvenience for millions of people. While closing wild animals markets and tightening regulations over certain research area would only effect very few people.

 

So are you suggesting some type of one world government where we can regulate shopping markets in other countries?

 

There was no 'pandemic' in areas that are not densely populated. This (as seems to be the trend) was another 'city problem.' If we really want to do everything we can to protect people from infection (and protect the economy from plandemics) we would do well to reduce population density. I can think of a number of things we needlessly spend money on that we could instead subsidize incentives to get folks to move from the most crowded areas to less crowded ones.

...or, you know, we could stop with the whole 'do everything in our power to protect everyone from themselves'... that would work for me as well.

 

I haven't see wild animal markets here. Have you?

At least we as a world community can put some pressure on Asian countries that facilitate those kinds of markets. Why not? This time it might have come from the lab, but who says the next time it won't come from the market? Why wait for it and do nothing? Once China became a world event, the standards of what we regard as “civilization” has changed. They have always had the view that if it hurts you, that is good for China.
The corona virus escape would have the admitting fault. China is never at fault for anything.
