If that were the topic, you would have put it in the OP. Yes, you can definitely die from a gunshot. No, you can't die from overdosing on pot. What have more children died from: pot overdoses or gunshots?

I specifically said that if 10 kids had been "injured" from the shooting it would be the top story on the news but since 10 kids were "injured" by a Cannabis overdose, not only would it NOT be the top story, it probably wouldn't even be in the 6:30 news program at all.

 

The discussion is not just about pot. The discussion is the left's and the media's preoccupation with mass shootings while ignoring other subjects which are as or are more dangerous.

We never hear outrage from the gun banning news media either when kids overdose on fentanyl. Why? Because the mostly leftwing media turns the blind eye and is complicit with the illegal drugs pouring over our southern borders.

 

The story in the OP has nothing to do with fentanyl. How many kids have overdosed on fentanyl and was it covered for not?

 

That's because 10 kids getting injured in a shooting is more serious than 10 kids eating some edibles. They aren't injured. They aren't dead. It's serious, yes, and I'm sure whomever the edibles came from will be in some serious trouble, just like they have been in other situations across the country where kids have gotten into someone's pot stash.

But you're trying to equivocate two things that are simply not related or equal. And unsurprisingly, you have failed at it.

 

I'd be far more concerned if 10 kids were shot at my child's school than 10 kids overdosed on marijuana edibles. My kids can be street-proofed not to gobble up edibles, but not to avoid a shooter. What does being a Democrat or Republican have to do with anything? Do you think Republicans are going to more concerned about edibles than shootings?

No one is dying from a weed overdose.

None of these kids were injured. They didn't even need medical attention.

We don't hear much about kids overdosing from any kind of drugs because it might expose Biden's failure to keep drugs out of the country.

The thread is about lack of coverage over mild to moderate distress to cannabis as compared to coverage of mass school shootings.
The "shock" and "surprise" that these two types of incidents don't get the same coverage is completely fake. One is far worse than the other. In your opinion which is worse....kids having mild to moderate distress from edibles or kids getting shot up?
