Silly nonsense, I am fully capable and respond to posts all the time (for example this one). If you actually mean YOUR post, you're off topic as I clearly demonstrated and that's a forum rule violation, so is the above. Next.

Lots of things are history (Trump isn't one of them, contrary to your claim) and there are hundreds of threads in this forum that are historically related, so what does that have to do with this thread or your off topic post?

 

Ironic that you would use an example from history while doing the same thing. People were fed a sweeping generalization fallacy for the purpose of demonizing a group. In this case, you are using the term "fools". Those casting their vote for Trump are not fools; they are individuals with beliefs different than yours. They range from enthusiastic, devout follower to those that want to get our from the overreach and abuse of power the other party is known for. That is no different than those that vote Democrat. Some are devout dem followers while others are just trying to get out from under the overreach Reps are known for.

While reps are being manipulated into viewing Dems as baby killers while pushing abortion laws, Dems were viewing others as grandma killers while pushing vax mandates. The bigger problem is willingness to be manipulated into rebleating the sweeping generalization fallacies they are being fed.

While it's true they are individuals with beliefs different than mine (obviously), they are also fools (to use the term mildly). Beliefs can be quite foolish, nes ce pas? Since you're stuck on history, if you recall history, Germany was destroyed BECAUSE over 95% of foolish Germans adored Adolf Hitler. Were they not blind fools and actually denounced him, German (and world) history would have been entirely different. But German fools chose to be suicidal, nothing different here, Trump is the proverbial bull in the China shop (see the long list in the first post in this thread).

Oh and this is not about "Dems" vs "Reps", this is strictly about Donald Trump, at least for me since I'm not a Dem, Rep, left, right or in between, I'm just Bob and I don't believe in group think political parties. The same is true for many people I know who voted to fire Trump, they don't like Biden either, same as myself.

In 2016, Trump won on a fluke of the electoral college .

In 2020, the fluke wasn't enough to keep him in office, and he was voted out, which would have happened in 2016 if we had had a stronger candidate, and folks were as knowledgeable who Trump was, which they weren't in 2016, they just knew him from his Celebrity Apprentice, when he had created a strong image of himself. But it was just a facade. Now that the public knows who he is, he's not winning much, all of his candidates are losing just as he lost in 2020.

To be fair, one cannot debate Republican versus Democrat political issues without some left wing wacko bringing Trump into the equation every single time. It is like Trump is their only defense mechanism.

Both politicians are the worst their parties had to offer and we are suffering for it. To me, Biden is just as bad as Trump but worse when it comes to actual policy. When it comes to social discorse, Trump is worse than Biden's gaffes.

Whether that's true or not, this particular topic is about "The Donald", period. Conversely, as you read the various posts and as I pointed out, while this thread is about Trump, it's the Trump worshipers who are trying to sidetrack the discussion by making it about Republican vs Democrat or Trump vs Biden because it seems they want to pretend the list of facts about Trump pointed out in the first post in this thread don't exist. Sorry but those facts aren't going to go away by diverting the discussion. "Left wing wacko" (whoever you think those are) or not, reality is reality. And I would not characterize many conservative Republicans who acknowledge those facts as "left wing wackos".

Yet, it is the left wing fanatics who are overwhelmed with Trumpism in a topic created over and over again on political forums concerning Trump as they cannot discuss any topic without bringing Trump into the topic. Which is all about Trump via Trumpism. Thus, pertains to this threads topic about Trump where more left wing fanatics cannot stop themselves from creating more Trumpisms! It is like their life revolves around Trump. No he's in the news primarily because there are multiple court cases surrounding him and his companies and because he can't keep his mouth shut. As to the the J6 investigation there are 2 Republicans on the House Committee. Beyond that there are multiple Republicans who were in his own circle either coming out with books about their experience with Trump or giving interviews about him.
