I won't sugar-coat this: Santos needs to resign and go away! I'm a rock-solid Conservative, and I know that we need every possible vote to hold off the destructive force of liberal, 'woke' Democrats -- but -- NOT with a devious, deceptive creature like Santos! He is the kind of Republican that makes people hate Republicans (and by extension, all CONSERVATIVES).

We who love this country and our Constitution are in a lifeboat right now, I know that... but if this Santos creep is in our Conservative boat, I want his ass thrown overboard.... Yeah, we need every vote -- I get that -- but we cannot have a thing like Santos in the House, supposedly representing us on the Middle and the Right. Doing so would give truth to the LIE that we on the Right support the election of scumbags!

 

McCarthy already sold his soul to Trump for his own political career so seeing him remain silent on Santos is not surprising.

A number of Santos’s Republican colleagues have expressed concerns as well. He has already been subject to criticism from several newly elected New York Congress members including Mike Lawler and Nick LaLota. One Republican member of Congress has come to his defense, though: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

However, as of now, McCarthy needs Santos almost as much as Santos needs McCarthy. The Republican leader is facing a revolt among hard-right Republicans opposed to him becoming speaker of the House in January. With the slim incoming GOP majority, it means McCarthy can only risk a handful of defections for a position that requires a majority vote of the entire House. Shortly before the Times’s story was published, Santos endorsed McCarthy on Twitter.

I’d say it dependas on the degree. Did they lie and say they had good grades when they didn’t? Or did they completely lie about even going to a college?
Did they inflate the importance of their job? Or did they completely fabricate where they worked?
It should disqualify him for the voters, but he won, and should be seated.
