China and Muslims are shooting for global dominance. Where do white and black people figure into that? History shows blacks can be dominated (you are a fan of the history you want kids to learn, right?) and current liberal philosophy shows that whites concerned about being dominated is racist by the very people inviting their own domination. And then there is the Latinx invasion which I’m sure you approve of. The way it’s shaping out, whites and blacks aren’t part of the plan approved by libs.

If it’s dominated by anyone it would be the people who can do math unless libs dumb it down so the slower people can catch up in the name of equity.

I suspect white males are more interested in maths. I don't think anything should be dumbed down.

The professor is wrong. The ELITE echelon is dominated by Chinese and it is not even close. The most sophisticated algorithms in America are almost exclusively written by 1st generation Chinese immigrants. As I am on the front row of this, I have become convinced that Chinese hegemony is not probable, it is guaranteed. This is the reason that they lead the world in patents and are on the bleeding edge of all the hottest technologies.... AI, solar, wind, gene research and batteries. Tech competence has always and will always translate into military and economic power. I believe China now leads the world in tech. This lead can only increase as time goes on and will translate into increased military and economic power. The average IQ in China is nearly 10 pts higher than the average IQ in America. American IQ has dropped 13.5 points since 1970 (when American IQ was measurably higher than China) and is dropping at a rate of 3 points a decade. Demographics are destiny. We are entering the Chinese century.

Hilarious that the West prattles on and on about White supremacy at the exact moment in time that Chinese supremacy enters the arena. I would not be surprised to find out that Chinese interests are funding this kind of "research" in America. Subvert your enemy as your power rises. This kind of self-hatred and subversion is completely banned in China. China need no look further than America to see the results of it.

For America to survive, politicians are going to need fear China as an existential threat. When that point is reached, THEN they will need to go through Academia like a shredder and purge it of gender studies, Black studies, etc.... Doubt it will ever happen, I suspect that we become like South Africa or Brazil where the middle class has to live in gated communities to protect themselves from random violence. It is very easy to see America falling apart or going full authoritarian. The majority of Americans see their fellow Americans as their greatest enemy. If that hatred starts translating into significant physical violence, that has the possibility of ending the union.

In America, the majority of the people are white. You can't help but run into them again and again in the community.

This man must be tired of white people. Therefore he should go to a place that has a majority of non-white people, like Africa.

Vanderbilt hires a lot of whackos under the banner of diversity. It does seem like it is pretty hard for these wackos then not opening up about their wackiness.... Oh well. No one said that paying 80K a year in tuition at one of these woke factories is good for you...

That's a big post. Is upper education maths dominated by Chinese, though? Thought they would be studying commerce, or something...

I wouldn't worry too much yet:

Got the stats? high school maybe. Doubt this is true for late University (i.e. pure maths degrees)

As a proportion vs population distribution would be a good way to investigate....i.e. is 15% representation of Black people carried over

Well, it doesn't look like the most important question in the OP is going to be answered by that dumb, partisan article.

You've got to at least give the professor some props for getting the most possible "woke" terms into one lecture description. I mean, I'm not sure which social virtue signal was left out, if any.

I bet the lecture hall smelled like patchouli after the lecture.

I don't know about math specifically, but it appears that advanced degrees are pretty much proportional to the population as a whole. If anything, whites are under represented.
    upload_2023-1-31_14-22-17.png

Yes, I know that the population numbers don't add up to 1. Blame it on the census. I think that they are double counting white hispanics.

If we take every category such as degrees, graduation, obesity, how fast people can run, who drinks more iced tea, etc, and let the hustlers break it down by race, then depending on what’s being measured, any time their pets are either at the top or bottom they’ll start dealing race cards.

I think calling human beings pets is fairly ugly.

It is. That's why conservatives generally don't like it when liberals treat their fellow man like pets.

I was the bane of the teacher's existence, a smart ass kid that would run circles around them, and made more than 1 cry with my words alone. Merciless, never wavering, looking for the slightest bit of weakness in order to unleash my mighty wit.

Since we're talking about "racist math," this would seem like the thread to mention what I believe is one of the most egregious examples of CRT principles being injected into public schools. It's the Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction which is allegedly about Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction. If memory serves, the framework was (and may still be) in use in Oregon, and was under evaluation for the nation's largest public school system, California.

The framework is positively dripping with CRT, Anti-racist (i.e. the Kendi ideology), and neo-Marxist jargon. It's page after page of ridiculous assertions. Perhaps the most amazing is this one: an insistence on correct answers to math problems is a form of white supermacy. Least you think this is hyperbole, I point you to page 66 of the framework's Stride 1:

GW Bush was rarely a quotable public figure, but he was spot on, and unfortunately prescient, when we used the phrase "the soft bigotry of low expectations."

I spent K to 6 in catholic school and what you described would never exist there, it taught me discipline and respect. Once I got into the public school system things changed.
