I really don't give a rat's a** about anyone's sexual preferences unless it involves children, force or with me.

 

I am opposed to extremes of any kind but when I say extreme left within the Democratic ( key word within) I am talking about other than Communism ( or NZISM) which exist is their own respective cesspools. The description of someone or a policy as Communist is very often contrived is order to degrade a policy or person. The same can be said of most accusations of NAZISM. Accusations of Socialism racism , anti-semitism, anti gay, etc renders the descriptions of real absolute extremism ineffective. The gang called the Squad are immature middle school girls who Pelosi slapped back into place but only one of them actually approached socialism. Trump does used some NAZI tactics but it is folly to call him a NAZI. Or to call the self admitted socialist a Communist.n

 

If "extreme left" is not totalitarian communism, then:

1. What word defines totalitarian communism if not 'extreme'
2. How do you define extreme left when it comes to Dem party

Extreme can be applied to both the left and the right. I probably used the word extreme too loosely. If we include Communism as part of the left spectrum within the Democratic Party ( key word within) that would be just as inaccurate as including NAZISM within the Republican Party. Now word totalitarianism is not strictly tied to the left or the right. A monarchy such as Saudi Arabia for example. Russia is totalitarian but not Communist. As far as I know there are no democratic Communist functioning countries just as there are no functioning NAZI countries. Of course there are people who relish defining Democrats as Communists or Socialists as there are those who will say that Republicans have become NAZIS. I used just say that the Democratic Party just became too liberal for me. But then some people will try and some do define Communism as being liberal primarily to insult liberals.
So are “we “ using too many words just as sound bites as you asked?

 

Ok. It doesn't look like you are going to define "extreme left". It sounds like you are saying USSR, which was totalitarian commie country was NOT "extreme left", but the Dems party is US is "extreme left". Yes, it does render the words meaningless.

 

I am a grandson of two men who were sent to Siberia and had farms
and businesses confiscated in the name of collectivization. Soviet communism like all established communism is in a deep caldron of totalitarianism that is worse and beyond anything in the Democratic Party. It is in my mind beyond extreme but I cannot come up with a word for it. If we define Communism as being extreme then how do we define the left most edge of the Democratic Party which we cannot honestly and should not define the same as Communism is. Any Communism ever established on this earth is authoritarian. Neither of the two prime American parties are authoritarian. Well not yet.

I know its easy to slap the "extreme" label on things. Its an exaggeration, and misleading, but its used often enough. You are referring to the fringe reps within the Dem party. I get it.
