DeSantis files complaint against Orlando Philharmonic for hosting drag holiday event

Ah yes, the quixotic crusade of DeSantis continues, all to pander for that precious vote from people that seem to fear others.

Ron took time out of his busy day to file a complaint about a drag show, because, well, that is what is important to him. Drag shows. Something about alcohol being sold at an all ages show, and somehow that violates something about sexual content, which seems very open to interpretation, and all because.........stuff like that matters to people?

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) administration has filed a complaint against an Orlando foundation over a drag holiday event it hosted in which minors were allowed to attend the show.

The complaint, which was filed Friday, alleges that the Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation violated state law in allowing for a person to “commit lewd or lascivious exhibition” in the presence of an individual who is less than 16 years old.

The state’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco under the Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed the complaint in its capacity as a regulator of alcohol. It is attempting to revoke the foundation’s liquor license for six alleged counts of violating Florida statutes.

The complaint states that the division sent the foundation a letter ahead of the show saying “sexually explicit drag show performances constitute public nuisances, lewd activity, and disorderly conduct when minors are in attendance” and the foundation’s license could be subject to penalties if it did not ensure minors could not attend the event.

 

Not sure why the left insist on putting on drag shows for children.

 

No one is above the law and it’s nice to see a governor enforcing it.

Does anyone here know the exact date the memo came out calling for people to take kids to drag shows? I’m here to tell ya, I’d rather see gorgeous babes singing and dancing instead of someone with an Adam’s apple, five o’clock shadows and big feet.

Conservatives, especially the religious verity, always have to have someone to hate.

They went from Indians to blacks to women to Asians to Muslims to gays and now we are at the trans / drag portion. It looks like they would be more interested in the actual child rape going on within their own religious organizations but I haven’t seen a single one calling for an investigation or stopping children from attending.

There is a special place in hell for people that use kids as a political pawn when the real intent is bigotry and not actually protecting them.

 

What’s sexually explicit at hooters or a football game? Plus those are real women.

Every time you say this I condemn religious extremism and hiding sexual abuse from any religious organization. Muslims just simply don’t have the same level of scandal in the US as Catholics and Christian churches.

Black leaders are condemning white people, white democrats are condemning white people, everyone on the left is condemning white people all because of something black people did. Who is doing that to blacks, Asians, Muslims or anyone else you mentioned earlier?

Asians have been getting pummeled and it wasn’t from whites. And let’s not forget how the left despises Jews.
