Migrants with nowhere to go were seen lying on mattresses and cardboard boxes in the city's downtown district after having their claims processed and being let into the country by Border Patrol agents, according to KTSM-TV.

'Crisis on steroids': Hundreds of migrants released to sleep on streets of El Paso, NY Post, Jesse O'Neill, December 13, 2022

Some 500 migrants were released into the streets of El Paso, Texas, to fend for themselves as the border city grappled with an overwhelming influx of asylum seekers who have overwhelmed its shelters and border detention facilities.

The situation, which a local congressman dubbed a "crisis on steroids," came as some 5,628 asylum seekers were held in temporary US Customs and Border Protection custody in a facility designed for 3,500 after Mexican authorities escorted busloads of people fleeing Nicaragua, Peru and Ecuador to the US border this weekend.

What do you mean by that ? nowhere to go ...
They can stay in their countries.
Do not think that illegal migrants believe that they will have a 5 star hotel waiting for them

I have a question. Can you explain why, on one hand, the right is angry and loud about the immigrants coming in over the Southern border, but they say nothing . . . . -not a peep, . . . -about the immigrants coming into Florida from Cuba?

Its a tough journey, but obviously one that they are willing to take.

The Florida National Guard is activated to deal with them and they don't seem to be sleeping all over the streets of Miami or Ft Lauderdale. What issue did you want to bring up about it?

Just that they are being provided for and given assistance while those coming over the Southern border are resisted and bitched about by the right. Why the difference?

How many immigrants are coming into Florida from Cuba ? 2% if you compare it to the mass number coming from Mexico

I don't understand at all what you are talking about. Both groups are coming over here and we can't (actually won't) do anything about it. I've bitched about both groups so I'm not even clear what point you are trying to make, if there even is a point there.

So a leftist wants more media coverage of illegals? I think other than Fox, none of it's in the news.

So a RWer has “preferred” immigrants and those they want rejected and it’s all based on politics.

I've spent several posts trying to figure out what you're talking about and I now think I'm a little closer. You think the right wing has preferred illegal aliens? They prefer Haitians and Cubans who wash ashore rather than the southern border crowd?

That doesn't seem to make sense and if you could expand on your comments maybe I could figure out what your talking about, because as is, your "preferred" illegals thesis sounds silly.
