Greene calls for probe into why Trump was unaware of previous Chinese balloons

Shocker! Marjorie Taylor Greene is once again outraged over something seemingly meaningless.

Trump is demanding a probe into Trump not being aware of something. Now, that alone is comedic gold, but really, does this country need another investigation into the failures of Trump, or the obvious lack of knowledge of Trump?

Maybe it was all of his "acting" directors being political pawns or disinterested. Maybe it was because the anomalies were not detected until Trump was long gone.

But again, another wailing for an investigation because Trump is allegedly the victim of bad conspiracy theory.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Monday called for a probe into why former President Trump was apparently not informed of previous Chinese surveillance balloons that Biden officials are saying crossed over the U.S. at least three times during the previous administration.

“If it’s true the Pentagon purposely did NOT tell President Trump of Chinese Spy Balloons during his administration then we had a serious breach in command during the Trump admin,” Greene said on Twitter.

“The POTUS is the Commander in Chief. We must investigate and hold accountable those who broke rank,” the longtime Trump ally said.

President Biden ordered the U.S. military on Saturday to shoot down a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that had spent days floating over the country in what defense officials later said was a clear effort to spy on sensitive sites.

It was on the front page of the presidential daily briefing. But it wasn’t drawn as a picture in crayon so he didn’t notice it.

Hahaha no kidding. Honestly the “oh look squirrel” trick is working wonders are so many libs. Anything to avoid seeing the dem failures.

 

MTG is trying to prove there is a "deep state" against Trump and will make the questions accordingly to whoever decides to testify on this issue from General Milley to former DNI and other intelligence services.

But the question remains if the Chinese balloon was that dangerous. I don't think so, not as dangerous as spy satellites that fly overhead or human intelligence operatives.

But I will present it this way, I think the only committee that should look into this is the Joint Select Committee on Intelligence. And that is it. And issue a report on history, how often, and who, including us, who use balloons for surveillance that can be made to the general public but not compromise our own intelligence services.

Maybe the "deep state" hated Trump because he didn't pay attention to their briefings.

I am very sure that a Chinese spy balloon would have been mentioned in the Presidential Daily Briefing that President Trump had available every single day at he was in office!

 

All they would have had to do, of course, would've been to include it in any written material, for President Trump to read. However, as it turns out, the Trump administration had not been able to piece together that these "weather balloons," were actually being used for spying. That did not happen until Biden came into office, when it was realized, in retrispect. As with other things (Covid vaccination distribution, etc.), it is hard to not see this sudden increase in federal competence, as unrelated to the personnel of the two different American administrations, and the way they had been run, from the top.

That would be Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. You must have a selective deafness, to think that Trump plays a greater role in Democratic politics, & talking points, than he does in those of Republicans.

 

So his team was completely incompetent. We told you so.

I think to answer that question, you need to read Maggie Haberman's book: Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump.

The rank and file in the government really do not care who is President. They have a job to do and will do it to the best of the ability. If trump did not get the briefings on this, then that was a decision way high up i nthe chain of command, like former DNI chief Ratcliff or the NSA advisor Flynn, or whoever it was, but it was not the rank and file though.

 

There were no briefings on this because no one knew until after Biden took office...lol

 

I'm suggesting that Trump was actually briefed on it, but he just wasn't paying attention.

 

Biden says that didn't happen. You're not following instructions...lol
