In the cases here the state and the land owners are in agreement to do this. Many land owners are eager to do this since their properties have been overrun by invaders.

    YOU should do some research.

The USBP says that 70% of drugs smuggled into the US come thru ports of entry.

But go ahead and build that wall with individuals tax dollars (texas has no corporate tax). How do I get that contract for a $7 million per mile.....You could hire armed guards to police every 100ft for that price

But you know that 90% of all "illegals" come thru ports of entry right ?

Showing our bias are we? All migrants are not illegal, and in fact the special treatment of the illegals is patently morally and legally wrong given that all the hoops the legals go through.

We're not talking about people with seasonal work visas.
We're talking about illegal economic migrants superfluous to our legal needs, who come pouring across the border often carrying cartel water (ie drugs, prostitution and forced labor mules held by their passports etc).

So Abbott and DeSantis are breaking the law by allowing illegals into the country. BTW, pelosi was not talking about illegals and no one is moving them to tx.

According to the feds, the feds will handle it and its no crime. Besides: Everyone we send out volunteered and signed documents. We give them a small incentive and tell them we're sending them to a place where the politicians want them there.
Giving someone a ride somewhere they want to go, illegal immigrant or not, once they're IN the border is not a crime. Helping them CROSS the border is the crime dude.
You're not so well read on this issue, maybe you should fix that.

No one moving them to Texas? We're THE main entry for illegals, and as stated they tend to set up and stay the first place they can get a foothold in.
They can get a foothold in Texas because plenty of people like you want indentured servants for the cheap labor you can extort out of them, and there are numerous citizens and legal residents who speak their primary language. Services are offered in this language by the government. Schools accommodate etc. The feds help them get aid and tie it to their Texas address, and they never leave.

All we're doing is giving them the opportunity to get established somewhere other than Texas, and they are JUMPING at the chance.
Don't like it? Work with us to fix illegal immigration policy and secure the border.
Don't want to do that? No worries, enjoy the new neighbors.

    I don't hire illegals. :)

Spin all the yarns you want. But for the 100th time, more will come.

Sure sure sure. You don't use the labor of illegals, you just suggested that removing illegal immigrants during the harvest was a non starter in support of your position that nothing should be done to stem the flow.
    ;)

And for the 100th time: We'll be sure to send them your way dude. Enjoy your new neighbors.

One might want to know if any politicians, (or politicians’ families, or ‘friends’) will be getting any of the money to build this wall?
    As always follow the money!

Be prepared for an even larger influx. If you think immigrants are not needed for the harvest, then you should start your own garden.

You've really got to consciously stop this expression of bias. All immigrants are not illegal. There are plenty of seasonal migrant visas already. If you think there are not enough, grant more.
That has nothing to do with people wandering willy nilly across our border.

Did you hear what she said....apparently you did thru your right wing earphones.

She said THE FARMERS are saying they need them to pick the crops. See thats where the hipocrisy on the right stands out like a turd in a punchbowl. Scream in public that we need to stop immigration, and in the backroom say that you need them top pick crops because you can pay them slave wages and face no consequence.

Texas property attorneys will more than likely fight against eminent domain. We have been through this before, namely under Gov Rick Perry and his "land grab" for the 130 toll road outside of Austin to help alleviate some of the traffic on IH35. Texans were pissed, which is why he no longer has a positive view of him as Governor. Now Abbott will try to do the same thing down the road and those living on the border don't want that in a million years, even the conservative ranchers who live on the border quite literally.

Second, I am well aware of what Texas is and is not allowed to do. That was not my direction about the root cause. My direct is that no one, Democrat or Republican wants to solve the root cause. Immigration as a whole is a complicated issue, more complicated than I think you realize it is beyond who is "legal" or "illegal." Moving people neither helps nor solves nor is it "our problem" whatever the hell that means. They are literally legal if they are allowed in per the immigration laws. What is really happening is you don't want them here no matter if they are eligible to come in or not and that is not right. It is not the Texas hospitality we are known for. This is more like California or New York attitude.

Finally, there are some bad policies and some good ones. DACA is a humanitarian decision in the immigration code does not allow. We are literally talking about people as young as a few months old who came into this country because of their parents and this is the only country they know, literally. Most of them are also literally more American than you realize. But again, their skin color and the overall anti-immigrant sentiment is destroying the GOP even those who are fleeing oppressive governments like North Korea or Venezuela.

    Almost $28 Million/Per Mile ($167M/7 Miles)
Abbott seems to have some really messed-up "Spending Priorities"...

I have no problems with this. Texas is a pretty wealthy state, if this is how they want to spend their tax revenue, all the more power to them. I also support people donating money via go fund me campaigns etc... I think this is an excellent idea. :applause:
