In Iran in the 70s nobody could concentrate on work, prays or football, but when surrounded by women like bellow, you can concentrate 100% on anything!

 

That has always been the case, but dynasties in China rise and fall on a regular basis. I think the current one isn’t going to last much longer. When things start going bad for the people, they always eventually overthrow their government. It seems to happen a lot in Persia too.

 

Except it wasn’t normal. I’m no fan of the Ayatollah, but the revolution was predictable. When the old Shah tried to nationalize the oil industry that was controlled by Britain and the US because Iran was only getting a tiny fraction of the wealth they should have been getting, in 1953 the US and Britain supported a coup that overthrew the Shah and put in place a puppet that would let the Oil be drained away as it had been. But the new Shah was very authoritarian and pretty much an *******. The Iranian people viewed him as nothing but a tool of the west, in large part causing the anti-western sentiment we see today, and allowing the Atatollah to get sympathy from those he otherwise would not have gotten any from with the Iranian people.

I think the current regime needs to be overthrown as well, but I think the Iranian people should do it and choose the successor, not the CIA and the British crown or their oil tycoon buddies.

 

Like I wrote. The only organization able to uproot the fascist dictatorship that the US installed, was the Shah. So it only could have happened that way.
