We didn’t make russia invade ukraine and aren’t at war. Sad how quick republicans are to blame America for the actions of evil dictators a world away

And why should we resist the Russian agenda? Why should we advance the globalist agenda?

If we don't stop Putin in Ukraine, he will invade other Eastern European nations.

    It will be Georgia, Moldova.

And it will be a clear signal to China that it can invade Taiwan without the US doing anything.

Is this the new world order you want to live in or do you prefer dictatorships to be defeated?

He will not invade any NATO nations. That's REAL WAR.
China will invade Taiwan... its just a matter of time. XI is hoping we have no weapons left when he does.
Its not a new world I want, but its what is shaping up. The China-Russia team may be someting we will have to learn to deal with... short of global nuclear war.

China will invade Taiwan, they've already made posturing towards doing so. And the laughable idea that 'well, if we prop up the Ukrainians, that'll show the Chinese' is about the most absurd, laughable experiment in US Foreign Policy since Vietnam.

And that is what it is, since neither the Russians nor the Ukrainians will score a decisive victory: Vietnam/Afghanistan 2.0 This war will last for decades, not months.

Apparently you think the Revolution of Dignity was all natural and the CIA had nothing to do with it?

We installed a US friendly government in Ukraine. And if you think we aren't in a proxy war with Russia... Just WOW!!

And the worst part of it all, is that we didn't try to hide this in the slightest! Not even from Western audiences. CNN was covering the Nuland-McCain saga up in Ukraine. It's not even a Russo/Putin conspiracy, for once, both West and Russia are on the same page on what happened in the Euromaiden. It's just that, in embracing 'self-determination', we say Ukraine should join the West/EU/NATO.

Even though all of this started on Ukraine defaulting on Russian gas pipelines, as well as the Ukrainian agreement to buy more fuel from Russia. it can be said to be more of a civil war inside of Ukraine(the breakaway regions and Crimea) and the rest of the Ukrainian State.

That's why a settlement is inevitable, both sides already have what they want. The breakaway regions and Crmea, and the rest of Ukraine for the Ukrainians. I think the only thing that's needed is an assurance from both Ukraine/NATO and Russia that neither will invade the other.

Some people have been saying that for 50 years.

Because it is an island, attacking Taiwan is a far more complex and difficult undertaking than the Russian war in Ukraine.

Doing nothing against Putin will show the weakness of the US in world geopolitics and will send an extremely negative signal to our NATO allies.

Dems STARTED our participation in the Ukraine war, didn't end it. Ok, Dems ended our participation in war in Afghanistan ut running away like cowards and arming the Taliban on he way really wasn't a good way to do it.

The US has been showing 'strength'(sarcasm) for the last 60 years, and all it has to show for it is the death of thousands of US troops and a failure in Eurasia and Central Africa. You don't show strength by putting your might where it's not necessary. It may be necessary for the Ukrainians, but it's not necessary for US.

Our threat to the Pacific is real and tangible. And hell, it's even universally acknowledged since we think Afghanistan 2.0 will stop the Chinese(it won't). The Chinese already believe that they will have to fight the US for Taiwan, and are prepared to do so. We must have the same thinking in the Pentagon and in Washington.

We do not. We still think this nonsense is actually going to work.(anymore then it prevented the Ukrainian invasion to begin with.)

    Bullshit they would...lol

When they get attacked, we'll send troops. Until then, our troops should be redeployed.

I don't see that. We have abundant food and energy, a wealth of natural resources, abundant cheap labor to our south. Why should we maintain long global supply chains and become dependent on foreigners. That seems a much riskier course.

It was surely is in response to US involvement. Putin's a POS and is sacrificing Russian men at a staggering rate, but thinking the US is not culpable in any fashion for this conflict is just absolutely turning a blind eye to reality.

The weapons gifted to the Taliban had NOTHING to do with the released prisoners... NOTHING. Happened 6-8 months later.
Trump sent some Javelins to Ukraine... but that was BEFORE Putin invaded.

His position is correct and despite what others might think it is a highly conservative position. Real conservatives are anti-war in most cases.
    I don't think name-calling bothers him much, btw. :)
