Nigeria Gets It Right - Castrate Rapists

It's pretty sad when 3rd world hell holes know how to solve problems better than the wokeness of the current administration. El Salvador is rounding up thousands of gang members, making it safer than several Democrat-run cities in the US and now Nigeria puts an end to kid diddlers/groomers and rapists. Good for them. Surely nobody has a problem with this?

That will not solve the problem, but it's Nigeria, their legislators decide. In the end, most of the rape cases end up in a he-said, she-said situation. Best case scenario judge or jury judge after what they consider the truths, normal scenario in a developing country the one who can pay the higher bribe wins, in a first world country the one who can afford the better lawyer wins. Considering the state of prisons in many countries most of us would bargain their balls for a shorter prison term.

 

Pretty sure not castrating rapists has nothing to do with being woke since we've never done that in the United States as a legal punishment and wokeness has only been a thing in the past 10 years.

It has more to do with the fact that rape has multiple drivers. If the person is driven by sexual fantasy then yes it may reduce recidivism but not all rapists are driven by that alone. Many are driven by the feeling of control and there are multiple instances where rapists have used implements and instruments to do the actual rape

 

Dont know, there are different terms for it. Political Correctness was once the terms en vogue for the same phenomenon.

As rape is a terrible crime it's understandable that many people call for hard punishments. Interestingly when I overtake the simplified pattern of the "woke" people and the "right wingers", the typical "woke" person wants to change the standards of justice, labelling men accused by women as guilty by definition, creating an alternative reality in which false accusations dont exist, while the "right winger" is more about harsher punishments, while he/she mostly defends the presumption of innocence, defending often men which are accused of sex crimes.

However castration wont solve the problem, you can to some degree lower maybe the rape numbers with draconic punishments from a certain degree on it has no effect I presume. Who is not terrified by facing 30 years in a Nigerian prison wont be terrified by 30 years plus castration.

On the other hand I cannot understand people who get hysteric that Nigeria introduces castration, I am pretty sure there were much worse things happening in Nigerian prisons before and they will still be going on after that new law.

Sorry but that won't happen here. Here in liberal America, the rapist will identify as female, get to keep his penis and probably rape a large quantity of FEMALE inmates. In order to get the castration he'd probably have to be an under 14 year old child that is confused about his gender.

My point is that sexual crimes are crimes and what is good for one is good for another. How is this an excuse, it a call for consistancy.

And yes, rapists who identify suddenly as a female demanding the transfer into a female prison in cells with female criminals shall only be allowed to do so after they undergo castration.

No, to be honest it should not be allowed at all, because even if they are no longer in the position to rape their female inmates, they still can "tax" them or use their physical strenght in any way they want.

Yes, I know it also happens in between female and male inmates as well, but you should try to prevent it as goos as possible, instead of encouraging it.

 

This has proven to all too true. On multiple offender rapist finally reached the point where the progressive judge decided that he needed to be taken off the streets and sent to prison. Now he says he’s a transsexual and should go to a women’s prison.

In his case, I’d send him to Nigeria to get the economy version of “the operation.” One quick wack with an ax, and he start enjoying his new life as a eunuch.
