oooopsy.... looks like the FBI did not scrub their illegal activities from some of a FBI government witness and another FBI agent... On Thursday, an attorney for Ethan Nordean, one of the Proud Boys members charged in the riot, filed a motion alleging that "hidden" messages were found between government witness Special Agent Nicole Miller and another FBI agent. Close examination of the agent’s sheet revealed over one thousand hidden Excel rows of messages,” a court document said. Proud Boys Attorney Finds 'Hidden' FBI Messages During Jan. 6 Trial Did DOJ Botch Their Biggest Capitol Riot Case? https://www.newsweek.com/did-doj-botch-their-biggest-capitol-riot-case-1787051 https://www.newsweek.com/proud-boys-attorney-finds-hidden-fbi-messages-during-jan-6-trial-1786773 https://www.westernjournal.com/repo...ing-388-items-evidence-jan-6-proud-boys-case/ But let typical fake CNN chime in with their deflection....it is not about how the FBI was destroying evidence, it was an issue that classified material was exposed to the public..... https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/09/politics/fbi-proud-boys-trial/index.html
wow...... any guesses if any accountability comes from this.... The motion said “a secret hidden tab in an FBI spreadsheet showed some of Agent Miller’s emails in which the FBI agent admitted fabricating evidence and following orders to destroy hundreds of items of evidence.” https://www.westernjournal.com/repo...ing-388-items-evidence-jan-6-proud-boys-case/ https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FqxzvKAWAAAFh87?format=jpg&name=large
And then Judge Timothy Kelly denies the cross-examining of FBI Special Agent Nicole Miller on Thursday last week. and heaven forbid if it is not being pointed out multiple time.... a Trump appointed judge... https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/23699546/nordean-filing-on-fbi-testimony.pdf These messages include a directive from FBI personnel to Miller to “destroy” 338 pieces of evidence and another directive to Miller to “edit out” an FBI agent from a Confidential Human Source (CHS) informant report, the filing read.
sources and methods. would you tell a crime boss who was undercover in his organization? where the microphones are in his office?
Would you tell a FBI agent to destroy 338 Items of Evidence? That is... if you think destroying evidence is OK...
The FBI had spies with the Proud Boys Defense Team 'The trial of chapter leader Zach Rehl was preparing to call a witness this week, but ran into a problem. Their “witness” turned out to be a confidential informant for the FBI who had been spying on the defense team. That brought the trial to a screeching halt “until these issues have been considered and resolved.” That’s putting it mildly, to say the least.' 'According to lawyers for Zachary Rehl, a Proud Boys chapter leader charged with seditious conspiracy, the government failed to disclose that one of the witnesses scheduled to testify was actually a confidential informant for the FBI. Surprisingly, the Associated Press reported it.' 'BREAKING NEWS: Just when you think DOJ can't get any dirtier-- New motion just filed by defense in Proud Boys trial accusing DOJ of using an FBI informant to spy on and infiltrate the defense team.' 'a defense witnesses has been an FBI informant since the BEGINNING of the case thru start of trial.' 'Jen Loh, but her real name is Jennylyn Salinas. She has been involved in the cases against multiple defendants and has been working with their legal teams. She was supposed to be testifying as a witness for the defense, but all the time she has been working for the FBI.' SUCH DIRTBAGS 'defense attorneys have been asking for a full list of FBI agents and informants who were involved in this investigation, but the Bureau has been stonewalling them. And if Salinas has been involved in talks with the defense attorneys as alleged, that is one of the clearest examples of a violation of the attorney-client privilege.' 'There’s nothing inherently wrong with law enforcement using paid informants to gather information. But those informants are supposed to be reporting the presumed illegal actions of others. They are not supposed to be the ones planning illegal activity and they are most certainly not supposed to be spying on defense teams as they prepare to go to trial.' Brings to mind the Fednapping of "Half" Whitmer.
Defense attorneys also discovered a hidden tab in an FBI evidence spreadsheet containing some of Miller’s emails, “in which the FBI agent admitted fabricating evidence and following orders to destroy hundreds of items of evidence,” according to a March 9 court filing ( see below) https://s3.documentcloud.org/docume...n-to-dismiss-criminal-case-with-prejudice.pdf
The FBI is run by people -- they're not perfect. Ever since Hoover, who kept a dossier on many a politician, the leaders in the FBI covets power. Now they have learned they can hold on to, and gain more power, by aligning themselves to the democrats. All is fair in politics when the goal is power and money.
At his trial, certainly, if that was part of the prosecution, it would need to be provided to his defense prior to being presented to the jury. Assuming this is America and we prosecute people with due process, of course...
confidential sources are never revealed to the defendant. that is why they are confidential. if the defendant's lawyers' know who the "rat" is he will never live until trial.
Thats what witness protection is for. To protect witnesses so they can testify to what they witnessed.
That's how corrupt prosecutors fabricate cases. They don't know the difference between right and wrong.
So you must be in favor of secret courts too where you do not have the right to confront your accuser
trump has corrupted the secret service and epsteun's prison guards. do you think he has no cult members running witness protection? .
i am not in favor of undercover policing at all, but that seems to be the way america's justice system works
You do realize the way our court system works is that you have the right to confront your accusers and see all of the evidence?
No that's how it works for everyone. You can go to trial and the state must produce all witnesses against you and there is something called a discovery report which requires the prosecution to provide the defense with every bit of evidence being used against you
Oh well in that case we should just get rid of due process entirely in any case related to Trump and let anyone that's anti-trump make up all the rules... Seriously, even if your conspiracy theory had evidence of truthfulness behind it (it doesn't), it still wouldn't be an excuse to prosecute folks based on 'evidence' from unspecified sources with unverified chain of custody based purely on, what? some sort of 'we're the FBI so we didn't make it up' honor system? We have checks and balances because no person or agency is due that sort of trust in a court of law. If they're able to make **** up then they will make **** up to get a conviction.
