I own the Lorcin, almost the same gun.

And the reputation was far worse than the gun itself was. I never had a problem with it, but I also regularly clean and lubricate it. I have always suspected that most of the bad reputation of guns like the Norinco and Lorcin was more do to poor maintenance by the owners than anything else. And I have heard from other owners that said largely the same thing. Properly cleaned and oiled and they work great. But do not clean and oil them and they were prone to have problems.

And at least at one time there was a company that made spring kits for them, that replaced the springs that came with them with stiffer springs. And supposedly that solved many of the problems also.

IIRC the Lorcin was one of those cheap semi autos in 25 or 32-like the Jennings, or the Raven. The Norinco was a Mil Spec AK semi auto only based on the Russian AKM (stamped receiver rather than milled)

I already sourced that cities like Baltimore and Chicago are overrun with guns bought from places run by the GOP with stupid weak gun laws.

And then you hid from the fact that if those weak gun laws were a problem then those areas there where it’s easier they would have even more gun deaths.

why keep bringing up a complete failure like that?

So... It's completely unrelated to the thug monster humans that live in those areas?

LOL. So AR-15s are expensive? You clearly have NO idea what you are talking about. Here is a complete AR requiring simply assembly for $400.

Also, if training is lifesaving and can be easily subsidized to be affordable for everyone, why aren’t folks like you offering to pay for it instead of yammering on about firearms you know nothing about? I think you just gave the game away. If you believed the silliness you peddle you would be advocating for and funding training instead of talking about banning ammunition types that have never been documented to have been used to kill anyone.

And notice, after proclaiming that such crimes never happen in Australia, they completely ignored when I posted several that indeed had happened there.

That is the norm for that person. Post a lie, be proven wrong, then simply ignore that they had been caught and spin to something else.

My bad, I just took a closer look. I was thinking of a company called "Norco" that was open for about a year that intended on recreating the Lorcin and was shut down by the state before they even made any guns.

The problem sometimes in trying to remember 3 decade old memories, when the data predated the Internet.

A lot of companies tried that.

The problem with California shutting down Lorcin and others is that they were popular and affordable guns. And like most laws of that kind, it was based entirely upon price. Just as earlier laws were based entirely upon looks.

Multiple companies did try to make changes to get around the laws, but California would stomp them out of business as soon as they tried. They do not want any affordable guns, only ones that are really expensive.

And if the govt only had nuclear missiles, does that make your country a govt state? Better live in a police state than a criminal state.
But to answer the point - if my country had a dozen reported home invasions a year, and we decided to arm every citizen, then we would have a lot more than another dozen people shot each year.

The main cause of child deaths now is gun related. You aren't 'incredibly safe' at all. Not by our standards.

    18 and 19 year olds aren’t children.

here’s a question; why include thugs and gang idiots in this statistic? I mean, I get including school kids, but why include thugs shooting other 18 year old thugs? Once you remove those clowns the numbers drop by half.

and your standards don’t include cultural differences, and you have to wait for the cops to come save you when something goes poorly. Your standards are comedic at best.

I pointed out to you multiple violent home invasions in just a few months, so once again you are doing what is known as "speaking out your arse" as you clearly have more than a dozen.

And the government does not arm people here, we arm ourselves. Nobody makes us decide to or not, that is one of the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.

And if you ask me, better home invaders get shot than innocent civilians. As seen already as I posted situations in Australia where the home invaders had guns. And shot people with them.

You have White Man's Burden really bad, it is obvious.

By "child" you mean black teenagers because that is what you are actually talking about. BTW leftists caused this to happen and it is concentrated almost exclusively in blue cities which are light on crime. Gangs now give guns to teenagers, mostly black teenagers, because they know of they get caught radical leftist D.A.s will left them off. Fact.

Quote - " you are doing what is known as "speaking out your arse" as you clearly have more than a dozen." Love it, that's funny.
Well home invasions are not a real thing in Australia. If they are in USA then it would be smart for the invaders to bring their guns.
So now there's more than a home invasion, there's a full scale gun battle as well.

Care to try again, and tell us how those are not a "real thing" in Australia?

GO ahead and tell that to the children of Ms. Emma Lovell. I am sure they will be so comforted by that.

YOu know, the more you talk the more you prove you are full of coprolite. And are the most blissful person I know.

Gods, that must be so relieving that there are no home invasion robberies in Australia. And even more so that they never use weapons or guns.

By 'real thing' I mean as a social phenomona. Sure, you can have home invasions anywhere, but for some nations its a novelty and for other nations its the norm. Like car jacking - hardly heard of here - common in South Africa.
Our Jim Jefferies made some funny points about home invasions and guns --- and he had his home invaded in England, I think.
