Trump would have to first agree to debating.
Last I read he thinks debating is beneath him because he's remained the front runner and believes will be the GOP nominee.

Well, I'm a never Trumper and I can assure you that with the lead Victim Trumpet currently holds over Wannabee Despot Ronnie, I'd say he's has zero reason to debate the Wannabee Despot.

I think it's much better for the GOP if he doesn't debate.
He won't garner new voters and for years now we've heard Trump ad nauseam.
Gives the other candidates the opportunity to not waste their time on him.

If Trump refuses to debate, it might be the first nail in his political coffin.

I just don't see him picking up supporters whether he debates or not.
They'd have to be a lot of fence sitters which I don't believe is the case.
Of course I could be wrong.
iirc: Ronna whatshername had said that the GOP candidates who debate must pledge to endorse whoever becomes the GOP nominee and Trump was a no-go.

Unless the polls become close - no reason for him to debate
Same reason why Biden won't debate RFK Jr

Neither Trump nor Obama participated in primary debates during reelection bids

I agree that Trump will go rouge third party if he doesn’t get the nomination.

He'll also do anything in his power to sabotage the republican that beat him if that happens.

and I have no issue with Biden not debating, that was my point. If the polls show they are winning big - no reason for Trump or Biden to debate

Only way that Trump does not get the nomination would be if something occurred that made him have to drop out

So, a 3rd party run would never happen

Christie thinks people have short memories? It was only 3 years ago that Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election and yet he's running again.

And what would "make him" have to drop out?

That is one of the reasons why I am not supporting Trump in the primaries.

Yes, health issues. Trump is fat, 78 years old and has a type I personality. He could have a health issue at any time. That's why need to send a lot of the baby boom generation packing, included Biden.

And yes, I am their age. So you can blow smoke at me all you want about "ageism." I'm there, and when you get to that age it's time to retire or cut way back.

He can't because there aren't any facts in there, just left wing interpretations.

I agree with you. A heart attack or stroke is about the only thing that will make Trump drop out.
I'm about 15 years younger and I think both Trump and Biden are too old. But if that is the choice presented in November I will gladly vote for Biden over Trump.

The facts are there. Your unwillingness (or inability) to see them is just a symptom of TDS.

It should also be a reason not to support him in the general election if he is the GOP nominee.

But I don't suffer from TDS. It must be something else.

I'm sorry that you think that only left wingers care about the Constitution or the law. I disagree.

And I will reluctantly vote for Trump over Biden. Biden is a crook, and perhaps even a traitor, in addition to mentally incompetent. That will come to light before the Democrats make their presidential choice, probably by design.

In post #165 you agree Trump tried to overturn US election but you still will vote for him if he is the nominee. Isn’t democracy mean anything to you ? or owning the libs is more important then US democracy?

This is the problem with today’s Republican Party. It is tribe over character. Zingers over substance. Party over country. The Democratic Party also has serious problems, but the Republican Party’s current problems are worse.

Trump makes fun of Christie's weight, without even a hint of irony.

Trump is probably the 2nd fattest guy to ever hold the office.
