Talking trash and inciting violence are not the same thing. Trump always reminds people to protest peacefully. Trump asked the January 6 protestors to keep it peaceful. Some did riot which shows Trump does not control his base.

The college students who have specifically threatened to harm Jewish students and/or Riley Gains are terrorists. But that doesn't necessarily include all college students who have protested the war in Gaza or bigotry against transgender folk.
