That's the point. Everyone in this country wants to be a victim of some sort it seems. They pick these redic pronouns that no one can figure out so that when you mess up they can go after you for being a bigot.

I hear that. But to do that to a 90 year old? I would have thought that was even too low for the left.

She was confused as I was when I first read the headline without reading the context. Pronouns is something we learn in school to for proper construct of a sentence. Pronouns as gendering yourself correctly is a whole other concept that is new in our world today and totally uncommonsense--and I'm sure totally foreign to a 90 year old. I doubt it was properly explained to her---you need to put yourself as what you see yourself----a her/him/them/they.

You can google "teens assault elderly person" and get dozens of news stories each year. People suck.

Following the rules > quality of work.

If this is the professional dynamic you expect, just keep that in mind the next time someone isnt doing their job well. They use the prescribed pronouns, and thats more important to you.

Continually? I bet you can't find more than 2 instances. My stance on that has changed. Joe with dementia is still way smarter than a perfectly healthy Kamalala

Is that the best you can do? Considering Trump is almost the same age I would deduce the exact opposite. Seems to me the don't care about age as much as CAPABILITY, but hey, its a nice try. 2 points!

This person claims she literally does not understand what pronouns are. Either she's being cheeky and defiant to defy policy, or her mind isn't fully working. And yet you attack Biden for being senile. So which is it? Does it matter or not? Or is she just pretending to be senile?

Clearly a charity that has lost its way and isn't worth donating to.

I wasn’t discussing whether or not the policy is stupid. It is. I’m saying that seven characters added to the sig line in the email isn’t a big ask. Just roll your eyes, do it and forget it’s even there.

If there is a set policy on something and the employee refuses, consequences may ensue.

It’s seven characters. What’s to understand? “You want me to WHAT? HOKAY…..” eye roll, type the seven stupid characters in the settings, move on.

I guess I misunderstood your post. If I assumed wrong, I’ve no idea what you were trying to say.

When I see names like Dakota, Lindsey, Taylor, etc. on an email, I'm glad the pronoun is there. If company policy requires email signatures to be a formatted specific way, do it or find another job.

Moreover, if there are a dozen genders, why would a company demand everyone out themselves? Some may not feel comfortable with that. They could just use generic pronouns for all.

Or they could simply recognise everyone's freedom and not empower the cry-bullies

THE 21st CENTURY IS NOT TURNING OUT AS I HAD HOPED: Elderly volunteer, 90, forced out of MS Society job for asking about pronoun usage.

'An elderly California woman was forced to step down from her volunteer position of 60 years after she asked for clarity on the use of pronouns.'

She was simply confused about why she needed to identify as her/she. The cry-bullies then claimed that this made them feel 'unsafe'. I think they are liars that prejudiced against the elderly, and view them as 'dead wood' that is holding back societal advancement, so want them out of the workplace.

'Fran Itkoff, the 90-year-old leader of the Lakewood/Long Beach Self-Help Group, was told her organization would no longer be affiliated with the National MS Society after her “failure to abide by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion guidelines.”'

'Itkoff, who has won multiple awards for her and her husband’s work with the organization, became confused one day after she saw several people sign their emails and letters with their names along with their chosen pronouns.'

“I was confused, I didn’t know what it was, what it meant,” Itkoff told the social media account Libs of TikTok. “I’ve seen it on a couple of letters that had come in after the person’s name they had the pronouns, but I didn’t know what that meant.”

'The nonagenarian, however, did not get a clear answer. “Finally I was talking to her and thought I would ask ‘what does it mean’ and let her tell me,” Itkoff said. “She said that it meant ‘they were all-inclusive,’ which didn’t make sense to me.”'

Especially since asking for clarification got her excluded.

It is especially stupid given that it was a volunteer position for a charity. Like they can't use the help? I'd think that kind of discourages others from volunteering.

Hopefully given what they have done it will also discourage people from donating to this charity, though I hope they can find worthy charities that support MS as the cause is worthy.
