    Speaker Johnson more than "THrUMP"

As for that image, America has many, many friends. Steadfast friends who choose to be so because we share common values and objectives, with Canada being very much among them.

    Some quick points:
    1. No confirmation of Iran selling ballistic missiles to Russia despite a Reuters report on the subject. The US and Ukraine have both said no evidence of actual delivery has taken place. Iran has denied it as well. The Reuters report likely a trial balloon by Iran to gauge reactions if it finalized such a deal.
    2. Even if Iran sold ballistic missiles to Russia, the numbers of such missiles sold would be extremely unlikely to approach the 400 mentioned by Reuters. That would seriously dent Iran's own stockpiles during uncertain times. A number around 100 would be more reasonable.
    3. Despite spectacular success stories against the Russian navy (within dynamics being noted elsewhere, and with Ukraine using systems others had previously used, e.g. successful Houthi unmanned vessels hitting western supplied UAE and Saudi warships in the past), the overall dynamics in the war have clearly shifted from a stalemate to now one that favors the Russians. The delivery of accurate Iranian ballistic missiles would be a game changer if Russia decides to take out very high valued targets such as the political or military leaders of Ukraine in conjunction with more breakthroughs on the ground. More likely, however, they would be used against next level high value targets as opposed to Ukrainian military and political leaders.

Kinzhals and Zircon were supposed to be game changers....

Last I heard the designers of these "game changers" were apprehended , arrested, and imprisoned for lack of effectiveness against 30 yr old Patriots?

I'm on the side of spelling "whose" correctly.

Not sure why you want to make it about Trudeau. Canada and the US are great friends and have been for a very long time. Trudeau doesn't really matter in the grand scheme.

Putin will lose his ‘imperialist adventure’ | Michael Clarke

"Putin doesn't really know what his war aims are because his initial aim […] completely failed. And so he's left with an open ended war where he's not losing it, but he certainly is not winning it either.”

Russia must be pushed back to its pre-2022 boundaries to ensure Putin’s “imperialist adventure” fails, says Michael Clarke on #TimesRadio.

I'm pretty sure if these missiles are indeed delivered, they will make a huge impact. I'm just not sure if Iran will indeed go through with such a deal, as changing the game too much wouldn't seem all that beneficial to Iran either.

In the meantime, you may not be aware, but a lot of the ammunition being used by Ukraine is indirectly supplied by Iran. Not by design but based on weapons and ammunition intended for other customers but seized by the US. More than a million rounds of such ammunition were delivered to Ukraine in October and there have been more since.

"I'm pretty sure if these missiles are delivered they'll make a ...huge impact"?

I'm "pretty sure" the sky will fall in tomorrow too.

And if the Iranians have this "hardware" they'll keep it for their own use against Isreal and USA....which is more likely.

Why supply its best for a walking corpse like Putlerstan?

What I'm sure about is Iranians are absolutely fleecing the RuZzians for the drones supplied....same with the Chinese and North Koreans...providing the Zorcs with $hit and charging maximum $$$ for it.

Iran has grievances with Mafiosi about the plight of Chechens and Dagestanis which Iran considers its "brethren".

Chinos are looking to annex Siberia when this $hitshow ends.

    NK....well who knows.

I'm not sure you have a correct or objective perspective on some of these issues.

I don't believe Iran has 400 ballistic missiles to spare for Russian use. Any delivery by Iran (if it happens) will be on a much smaller scale (less than 100 IMO). If that is what you meant to say, we agree.

But Iran firing ballistic missiles at Israel involves 2 things Iran is reluctant to risk. First, although Iran is not a known nuclear state, the Israelis have been letting Iran hear that a ballistic missile launch against them could be interpreted by the Israel as a nuclear strike with Israel threatening to retaliate as such. Second, and partly because the US doesn't want nukes being thrown around by the Frankenstein monster they have created, the US has given iron-clad assurances to Israel to launch devastating attacks on Iran in case of an Iranian missile strike against Israel and conveyed the same message to Iran.

To give itself more retaliatory options using lighter, smaller, ballistic missiles that cannot be credibly confused with nuclear armed missiles, Iran has been testing those in warnings to Israel about its actions. To give you a better sense of the whole dynamic in this stupid game of chicken the US/Israel like to play against Iran, let me for instance cite this recent report. The title should make you happy btw.

Iran flaunts a new ship-fired missile, but analysts say it's no game-changer

If Iran wants to deliver 100 missiles for the Kremlin circus ....to use in Ukraine....go ahead....Patriots love the target practice....as one has seen with those "game changing" Kinzhals and Zircons, Kalibrs, etc.

    Some "superpower"....going begging for missiles.

The Ukrainians have achieved much, and earned our admiration and support.
Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, February 24, 2024
    Feb 24, 2024 - ISW Press
    [IMG]

Ukraine continues to defend against Russian aggression and the Kremlin’s attempt to destroy Ukrainian statehood and identity despite growing difficulties two years after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Two years ago Russia launched a full-scale war of conquest to overthrow the Ukrainian government and forcibly install a pro-Russian regime firmly under Moscow’s control. Russian forces drove on Kyiv from several directions and struck at Kharkiv, Kherson, Mariupol, and other Ukrainian cities. Russian President Vladimir Putin expected Ukrainians to welcome his forces or flee. Instead, Ukrainians fought for their freedom. They stopped the Russian drives on Kyiv and Kharkiv cities, stopped the Russian advance on Mykolayiv and Odesa cities, and fought Putin’s troops to a standstill along the rest of the line. Then, armed with experience, courage, determination, and growing Western aid, Ukraine struck back. Ukrainian forces drove the Russians from Kyiv and away from Kharkiv and liberated large swathes of territory in northeastern Ukraine. They liberated Kherson City and forced Russian forces off the west (right) bank of the Dnipro River. They ended the threat to Ukraine’s existence for the time.
