The war is nowhere close to ending if it is going to end with the eradication of Hamas. Everything Israel is doing is just swelling the ranks of Hamas. If Trump does get elected, He is going to bring it to an end very quickly. I don't think he would have any problem with cutting off all aid to Israel, as that is the only way this war ends quickly short of Israel ending quickly. But I suppose we will see.

Israel has no way to tell who is Hamas and who is not or how many Hamas they are creating.

No killing of innocents is acceptable on either side, though it is expected some will get killed. I would say a reasonable amount, though still unacceptable, would be about 500. Certainly not 30,000+ with half of all buildings leveled. It is beyond despicable, and is actually completely counterproductive, as it is just going to result in FAR more extremists being made. Israel has shot itself in the foot with this idiotic slaughter. It is alienating its greatest supporters in the war while at the same time solidifying support for their enemy, and causing many more to join them or similar groups. Complete foolishness.

Hamas' fighters and weapons reside mostly in tunnels. And Israel has all but given up on the notion it can destroy those tunnels, which Israel now estimates to cover between 300-500 miles.

 

Those brigades will be replaced within days with a whole generation of fresh recruits that Israel created through their senseless slaughter.
