Why is it increasingly tolerated for government to take money, refuse to deliver the services we pay for and instead divert that money for their own agenda and preferences vs serving the public?

I mean this isn't abortion pills, or free edibles or anything like that. The police being able to arrive and help you recover your own vehicle should be a very basic function. Police increasingly won't show up for actual crimes in progress, shoplifting and an array of other crimes that I guess are far below their ability to provide a service to us.

Police that can't be bothered to help with...crime. Why?

Police are becoming more worthless by the day.
Had a friend whose house was broken into and he called the police and they said well there's not much we can do but take fingerprints.

He said well if I have to do your job for you and I come home and find them in my house you just make sure you bring body bags with you next time

In the past month we have had two people shoplifting from this store and we found their names on our own and I even called the cops and had the guys mugshot in full name and said this is who you are looking for and that's the direction he walked off in... And they actually had the nerve to ask what do you want us to do? I don't know.... Maybe your job that society pays you to do? I'm glad I don't work for a corporate store because I actually went outside and followed the guy and took our merchandise out of his hand. And the dummy told me well this is my full name so go ahead and call the cops..... How nice of him to provide his full name because I had his mugshot within minutes

They have their names and mugshots and their addresses in this small town and yet nothing has happened.

The police are becoming completely worthless. Congratulations Democrats this is the lawless society that you are craving.

maybe someone with a medical issue or a real life or death situation was more of a priority then someone that no longer had a car and they could look for after those items

the yes, plan B should ALWAYS be in every rape kit, helps reduce abortions

Yes of course because there's no such thing as the defund police movement within the Democrat party.

Your speculation about why the police don't respond is what's fake news

All LEOs are bad according to progressives, the radical far left wing of the Democratic Party. This is one Marxist Communist strategy that creates chaos and fear and a mistrust of the government.

I looked up the incident, the dispatcher told the victim no one was on duty at the time.

Yes, once again, the RW malcontents have taken the bait, hook, line and sinker once again. !!! :) :) :)

    From the local news
    https://cbs4indy.com/news/national-...heft-victim-takes-matters-into-her-own-hands/
“She said they don’t have anyone on duty to help me right now, so I said

You think this is a defense? There's no one on duty at the time.... it's the police. There is always supposed to be someone on duty.

    That's the point.

"Hey my house is on fire".... sorry no one available right now.

"Hey someone stole my car"....sorry no one on duty right now.

Take it up with the dispatcher. :)
If you don't realize in some remote areas, nobody is around.......

I'm sure there is more bait out there for all MAGAs to get hooked on !!!!

    Wrong

The dems may not want to cut good cops but their policies lead to good cops leaving and retiring and quitting

the democrat police are draining police depatments of good cops and the ability of remaining cops to do their job.

thjese are facts but no democrat politician will admit. Hence the problem in the op of worthloess police departments in every red city

Are you seriously trying to allege that the city of DENVER is a remote area? You're clearly not having a discussion in goof faith.

nope, we should all want to get rid of bad cops

some on the left and right abuse and attack good cops and that is sad... criminals without a badge are as bad as those with a badge, as they are BOTH criminals

the right supporting bad cops, harms society and reduces respect for good cops

This is what the residents of Denver voted for. I have no sympathy for them.

In the olden days they hung horse thieves due to the economic impact on the victim. Many people today could easily find themselves on the street unable to get to work, earn, and pay rent.
Every car thief should do some time.

This sounds like deflection. It isn't a discussion about good or bad cops. There were NO COPS available.

Congratulations! You get the "I totally missed the point" award.

The police department should have enough officers so that they don't have to prioritize calls, meaning that some calls are responded to and some aren't.

that sounds like you agree with me and want to change direction... yes, not avail, were they all helping people more in need, who knows, a stolen car is lower on the list of priorities then a medical issue or life-threatening issue

when I was growing up in a small republican town, we had one cop, we had to borrow fire and stuff from another neighboring town, yep, you might have to wait for someone if low on priorities like a stolen car

We do all want to get rid of bad caps so that is irrelevant

The left has policies causing good cops to leave and they refuse to take responsiblity for those policies and change them,

    That is fact
