I'm still not sure what they are upset at. That Biden is accepting transgender people or they're mad at it falling on the same day as easter. He could have named march 27 transgender day of visibility, and they could still get mad next year or the year after lol.

 

Really? A holiday? Where does he say that? Be specific now.

He just declared it a 'special day' by Presidential proclaimation. There are dozens of them, plus a bunch of special weeks. Only about half a dozen are actually holidays.

The hysteria about this is just bizarre. You folks just keep making things up and then acting like they are real.

It's quite alright to not celebrate transexualism. If no one cared one way or another there'd be no reason for the day to exist. Ditto for all LGBTQ+ days, if no one cared about another's sexuality no one would feel the need to celebrate theirs. Why is there no "straight" day? Because.no one cares that you're straight. Make it the same for ALL and we move toward much faster.

 

How about neither?

Just remember, there is no more proof for or reason to have faith in a god than there is for a trans-gender person to believe their physical gender does not match their gender identity.

You religious folks can take God and all of that nonsense on 100% pure faith alone, never having evidence or proof or anything beyond the tradition of believing, but when it comes to trans-gender people, only what you see is what you can believe. No vagina? You're a man because that's what it looks like! Now get over to church and worship the God you'll never see and make sure to live your life by all the rules human beings came up with purporting to honor that God they'll never see and must 100% assume exists.

 

Genders have been proven millions of years ago. Zero proof of matter being able to create itself is proof of God. Science proves God, just like chromosomes prove gender.

You've proven EXTERNAL gender. Nothing has been proven about how your brain functions when it comes to gender identity. And as you may or may not be aware, everything about who you are involves the brain.

 

Actually, my post was about the hypocrisy involved in believing in supernatural beings who created the universe but not requiring a creator itself while being unable to believe that the inside of a person's brain may work differently than you think it does or should. Religious folks are already conditioned to believe there is more to things than meets the eye, just not when it involves a trans-gender person's brain. THEN it's only seeing is believing. Not for the omnipotent God who created everything, but for the person who knows more about how their brain works than you do.

It's just a puzzling paradigm.

 

I imagine that would be a dilemma only for somebody who is a transexual Christian. Though I don't know why they wouldn't celebrate both. I myself, celebrate neither. To me it's just the day to go on a rant because I ran out of bread and Publix is closed.

 

Sure there is! Social factors are a HUGE one! I can't tell you how many of us smoked in our teens, knowing how horrible and stupid it was and after growing up giving our parents crap about smoking. YOUNG PEOPLE DO STUPID THINGS especially when you switch up the cultural "norms" and try to NORMALIZE genital MUTILATION.
If the social aspect wasn't as strong as it is now, you would never have a "detransitioner". Most people that used to transition had LEGIT gender dysphoria, not socially induced gender disphoria which has lead to the massacre of 13 yr old breasts and testicles ALL OVER THE NATION

 

Well, first of all, believing in something based only on faith does not create an automatic obligation to accept anything else strictly on faith.

And just because someone rejects say, religion, doesn't mean they have to forgo all "blind faith".

And finally, as I've said many times before, sexual preference between consenting adults is no ones business.

Not my business, not your business, and for damn sure not government's business.

If one believes they are a man trapped in a womans body (or vice versa) not my business.

If you're more comfortable in a dress, more power to you. Not my issue.

Now. If you want to have a special "visibility" day to celebrate your uniqueness you should expect a bit of blowback.

If you think your preferences somehow make you special, or should get you some privilege, expect some blowback.

If you reject religion, thats your business. If you want to criticize my faith, expect blowback.
