Good for you, now do something incredibly unique to people like you and apply that mentality to Gaza. Ohhh right, it’s a physical impossibility to do that and you’ll just ramble about “Palestinians are different than their government” blah blah

Nobody is attacking aid trucks. They can be unintended victims of being in A WAR ZONE.

So you support those responsible for the killing of UK marines. We get it.

Pick whichever one you feel like and apply it to both sides. That’s the challenge for you. I wish you the best of luck in this intellectual feat of impossibility

Were international aid workers permitted to venture into Okinawa during the battle of Okinawa in World War II? Did Iran allow "charity workers" to visit the hostages in 1979-81? Did Iran or Iraq allow "charity workers" into its war zones during the 1980-87 charnel house?

Given the last election In Gaza was more then a decade ago, I can easily draw a distinction.

It's twighlight zone round here when Israelis are involved. Israel must be spending 50% of that $4b annual aid package from USA on Hasbara.

I'm confident the IDF didn't target an aid truck. They may have destroyed one by mistake or something resulting from another target but there isn't even a benefit to Israel to destroy aid trucks and kill those inside of it. Absolutely no motivation. You can see the criticism heaped on them. Anyone could predict that. [/QUOTE]

But clearly you are condoning this execution of UK marines, no?

Or will you condemn the IDF for the targeting of a UK private security convoy?

Go ahead then and draw it. And then apply to both sides. Best of luck

The huge majority of the so called "civilians" give support to Hamas.

Having donated to WCK, I was saddened to hear of this but TBH I am more surprised it hasn't happened sooner.

Blaming the aid workers for their deaths??? REALLY !!!??? These aid workers are HEROS....as they go into areas of desperate need. Their route was deemed safe. They were hit as if they were targeted. That might not be the case. But it was not just a "casualty" of war.......which is cold, cynical and inhumane. Israel has said it was an "accident". So all the crazy ideas that are being put forth here are nothing more than biased speculation. We won't know the facts until there is an investigation....... and even then we need to keep an open mind as war seems to bring out the worst in people.

That is not surprising. After all Hamas was "voted" in to govern the area. That does not imply that they are al terrorists.
(just poor judges of their leadership) It also does not mean that they all have to be slaughtered en masse. This is why a war reaction to a terrorist attack is a big destructive mistake. What has been achieved so far , apart from a lot of killing. ? Has it has any real effect on the terrorism?? Even if they get rid of most of them.... there is no guarantee they won't sprout up again... as the anger and hatred will be even deeper.

Not even Israel makes that claim concerning those it slaughtered in this event.

FYI, that's what the Red Cross does, but they are shuned in that region due to religious issues. The Red Cross has and does provide humanitarian aid all over the world when possible, and often in war zones.

Seems some posters won't give a direct answer. As if some innocent civilians are more important than others.

Anyone who goes where Hamas terrorists are present may not say or do anything that criticizes or contradicts or challenges Hamas without risking a swift violent response.

Fine, but that's got nothing to do with the humanitarian aid trying to get food for people. Organizations like the Red Cross do it all the time.
