    https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/over-1300-layoffs-hit-logistics-companies-across-us

    HYPERLINK has full article

    snip

Michigian-based Universal Logistics is permanently shuttering two of its subsidiaries and laying off a total of 677........

Swissport Cargo Services recently announced it is laying off 235 workers at a cargo handling operation in Atlanta.........

The Kroger Co. recently announced it is cutting over 230 jobs and permanently closing delivery hubs in San Antonio and Austin, Texas, as well as Miami.

    end snip

read the article if you want to see all the layoffs and where.

If I had to venture a guess, I would reckon that AI did not replace forklift operators or truck drivers.

More good folks hitting the skids in what we are being told are awesome times. Maybe they can go to CA and earn $20 per hour making coffee

I was on an interview panel last week and based on the quality of candidates that made it through the screening process, this is a great time to be looking for a job. These candidates were mostly all awful!

Companies were getting pretty fat during Covid due to high demand sparked by lots of cash. They created bidding wars for talent across the supply chain to automate logistics.
Now consumer spending is falling and they have to cut bodies.

Last week it was the Dow of your doom and gloom. :)

"I've said before that historically depressed levels of activity wouldn't last forever," Solomon told analysts Monday, adding that "it's clear that we're in the early stages of a reopening of capital markets."

It's very telling when Democrat voters on this forum do not care about folks losing their jobs

It's all about propping up the Democrat party and the folks be damned

The problem with the OP is it is always no real research to see what the real cause and affect happened to be in the situation.
If it strikes the OP in the manner wanted, which would be how can the post propaganda against the current Administration, it is immediately posted.
Then the OP is hoping that the "cause and affect" is all because of the policy of the currency Administration.
Why because it works for the uneducated.
Pay no attention to the "person" behind the curtain, a.k.a. the OP!:spin:

Asking a rightist to do research is akin to asking trump to be faithful and not be a lying shitstain.

Note to mods, I am calling trump a shitstain, not any of our fine members here.

Looks like there are specific business reasons for each layoff. For example, Swissport lost their contract with Amazon at Atlanta.

So this collection of anecdotes doesn't necessarily indicate some trend in the economy.

are you refuting that the folks lost their jobs?

Why is rooting for team Democrat more important than America as a whole?

You should try working in a distribution center. You probably won’t like it.

Hence, your total lack of comprehension.
Because I refuse to fall into your partisan trap it seems that you believe
    there is no other cause.
Just a stupid argument you always present.
Societies have been in this situation forever.

instead of trying to refute the fact-filled article, you now make personal insults toward me. Democrat voters really are predictable. It's all about the Democrat party and to heck with the folks.

Unfortunately the problem is when confronted with an opposing view the retort is always biased and using your prejudice thoughts to make the situation something that is the cause of the current Administration.
That has been proven many times over, many!
Perhaps those that sit among your coffee group or at the supper table believe all the prejudiced material being shown, however, those with thinking skills are able to find root causes for the dilemma.
As stated prior to this societies have been working through the cycle of employment problems....FOREVER!
So the, so-called, insults you seem to take offense too could be constructive criticism.
Something most followers and believers of the propaganda perpetuated by P01135809 always take offense. Even when the facts prove them wrong.
    Have a wonderful day!

It’s very telling the trump supporters on this forum don’t care that over 300,000 jobs were created in March.

It’s all about tearing down Joe Biden and America be damned.

I cannot speak for Trump supporters. I simply look at what is happening around me and throughout the country. it is wonderful that jobs are added as many restaurants I patronize are understaffed. Maybe the restaurants and bars will soon be fully staffed. Tearing down America has been going on for quite some time thanks to the status quo of DC. Biden just happens to be status quo.

followers and believers; project much? We will never see eye to eye. I freely admit that both Republicans and Democrats have created this mess and having folks bicker about Democrat this or Republican that allows them to continue doing as they darn well please. I will however point out the utter and shear hypocrisy of many Democrat voters such as yourself. You deserve to be exposed.

The projection, even in your response here is leveled at one particular entity...but P01135809 always gets the pass.
You may lie to yourself but as stated before, thinking individuals see past the prejudice.

    "

This has always been a typical comment by the followers of P01135809.

You keep saying this stuff, but it is not even close to the facts. iT jobs are everywhere. !!!

Make all the flame bait threads you want, but when you make deliberate misleading and false statements, expect to be called out.
