DHS monitoring over 600,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records: report

It has been revealed that the Department of Homeland Security is currently aware of over 600,000 illegal immigrants who managed to enter the United States with criminal records.

The data was presented by House National Security, Border and Foreign Affairs Subcommittee Chairman Rep. Glenn Grothman during a hearing on Tuesday.

According to Grothman, of the over 6 million illegal immigrants who have been allowed into the country since Joe Biden was elected, 617,000 have either criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.

It is unfortunate that Trump ordered his congressional lackeys to kill bipartisan legislation that would have increased border security.

The bill had new emergency authorities to shut down the border when the border is overrun, new hiring authorities to quickly increase officers, and new hearing authorities to quickly apply consequences for illegal crossings. It would have changed our border from catch and release to detain and deport.

It is not surprising that the border guards' union, Chambers of Commerce, and the conservative Wall Street Journal all supported it.
