??? I was surely taught of the trail of tears. I remember having to do an extensive report on it in Junior High School. Matter of fact, we spent an entire semester on the plight of Native Americans in North American. We had groups assigned to each major tribe and we learned of the migrations, native wars among tribe, Tribal order and the American Indian wars that eventually lead to the trail of tears.
