Oh, but the "sanctions" were going to humble him, right? If you look at Russia's economy, and the value of its currency today, you do not come to that conclusion... right?

Well, next, our Ukrainian proxy-army was going to defeat him on the ground. But, instead, the Russians have been making slow, but consistent gains on the ground.

No, Yardy, I never said that Russia was going to win the war "in a few months". What I DID say, and what IS true is that because of the very obvious logistics involved, a Russian win is inevitable. Hint: It's a little over 500 miles from Moscow to Kiev... all of which are on roadways. Next, it's almost 5,000 miles from Washington D. C. to Kiev... and involves crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

I know that in our wonderous, whiz-bang 21st-century it seems so 'old-school' to have to think about getting large numbers of people and large amounts of 'stuff' from Point A to Point B, but logistics are crucially important.

Yep, French troops, American aid and Norwegian F-16s are all on the way, based on current reporting.

 

Basically...once French troops are installed....quite possibly along Belarus border, that'll free up more UAF members, for the East.

I'll hazard the next guess....once French troops are in....they won't leave....until Ukraine is in NATO.

That might spell the "death" of Pootlerstan.....once Ukraine is NATO member.

I suspect Pootlerstan will try target these troops....or who knows, since that's an escalation with a nuclear power also.

This is a foot in the door for other NATO members to follow suit.

The main trouble makers are in Western Ukraine, where Right Sector and
other Nazi groups were and mainly still are, these are now within the Azov
umbrella organization I understand.

So I tend to refer to Ukraine as Western and Central Ukraine as the part
Zelensky runs, and Eastern and Southern Ukraine as the parts that have
escaped into Russia.
