So what? I will not be blackmailed. I regard Biden and Trump as equally unfit.

You often speak about US presence in Germany, Japan, and South Korea. Citizens of these countries wanted to rebuild their nation after the war, and they welcomed assistance from the US.
    So did the Afghans.
    J6 was "punks on parade."

The polls were right on with Hillary Clinton. They predicted Hillary would win the popular vote by 3.2 points, she won the popular vote by 2.1 points. That’s well within the MOE of plus or minus 3 points that most polls have. The problem with most who state the polls were wrong, don’t understand the MOE. They probably don’t even know it exist in every poll taken.

    https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2016/trump-vs-clinton

I said I don’t want neither one to become the next president much like around a quarter or more of all Americans. Both are disliked. You have this, 59% of all Americans don’t want Biden to run again, 56% don’t want Trump to run again either.

    https://d3nkl3psvxxpe9.cloudfront.net/documents/econTabReport_mTlzQOB.pdf

Then this: About 1 in 4 Americans have unfavorable views of both Biden and Trump – 34% of all Americans have a favorable view of Biden but not Trump. 37% of all Americans have a favorable view of Trump, but not Biden. 26% have an unfavorable/negative view of both Biden and Trump. Add those who view both Biden and Trump negatively to those who view one or the other, but not both unfavorably, you end up with over 60% of all Americans having a negative view of Biden, 60% who have a negative view of Trump.

    https://www.pewresearch.org/short-r...ve-unfavorable-views-of-both-biden-and-trump/

Myself, since I don’t want neither one as the next president, I refuse to help either one or to help elect someone I don’t want as president. I didn’t choose them, both major parties did. So if one or the other loses, it’s time to blame the losing party for choosing their candidate that most Americans don’t like and don’t want to become the next president.

Me too Jack. We can't help it if both major parties choose candidates that are overwhelming disliked and not wanted. That's their fault, not the voters.

Since there is no such thing as the perfect choice, the selection of a candidate to receive my vote is always a question of how to ultimately achieve the best outcome. It is clear to me that one candidate has announced his intentions of ending the USA as we know it and establishing an authoritarian dictatorship. So job #1 for me is to do my part to prevent that. And while any other candidate would be against such policies, there is only one who is positioned to actually prevent it, and that is Biden.

Biden is too old and may be slipping. He is basically spineless and tends to withdraw from an ambitious agenda, and his anti-climate change talk conflicts with his climate damaging approach to fossil fuel corporations and drilling leases, but that is all the sort of imperfection I mentioned and which characterizes the best option we have to stop an authoritarian. So my vote is with Biden.

So you are ok with taking risk of US democracy and let a man who ways “ I want to be dictator on day one” be POTUS so you can blame ”loosing party for choosing their candidate that most American don’t like”. Interesting. May be America no longer deserve democracy.

So far I have not seen any Democrat/ Liberal saying , I would rather home or vote 3rd party. That’s the good news. If some republican / conservatives want to stay home and not vote for Biden and Trump. let them be. Let them pretend they are better then everyone else.

For the rest of us , we need to go and vote. we can’t have trump end US democracy after 250 years.

With the two major party monopoly on our electoral system, America doesn’t have a true democracy. The two major parties do all they can do to keep any and all other candidates off the ballot. They don’t want to give the people more choices than just their two candidates and for the most part are very successful in denying the people other choices other than just the two major party’s candidates. All other modern democracies have multi-party democracies along with ballot access for those who want to run. We don’t.

Money decides elections here. Money from corporations, wall street firms, lobbyists, special interest and worst yet, the super, rich, mega individual money donors. 14 billion dollars was spent on the 2020 election. The super, rich, mega individual money donors accounted for almost half of that 14 billion.

    https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2020/10/cost-of-2020-election-14billion-update/

We have the best government money can buy. We voters are put pawns being moved around the political election chessboard by the moneyed elites. As for Trump becoming a dictator, 62% of all Americans think this is nothing more than a scare tactic by the democrats to get voters to vote for Biden instead of Trump. In the same poll 62% of all Americans state this country needs another choice other than Biden and Trump. That’s how much both are disliked and unwanted.

You keep saying you want two political parties, yet you celebrate every Republican defeat and lick your chops at the prospect of the demise of the GOP. I doubt that you really support the two party system.

I strongly dislike what the Democrats are doing with the legal system, but I know that we need at least two viable political parties to keep the them honest. If the Democrats are all there is, our political system will be like the Russians, the North Koreans and the Chinese Communists.

The primary reason? Biden will nominate Supreme Court justices that know how to interpret the original meaning and text of the Constitution unlike conservative judges who legislate from the bench and make up their own interpretation or use lobbyists' interpretations.

I like the way the Biden Administration governs. I like the bills that get signed. I like the judicial nominees. The Biden Administration has had very very few opportunities to shape successful legislation due to the hyper-partisan Congress, but it makes the absolute most of every opportunity it can.

If you take away the personality and dementia aspects and just objectively look at the policies promoted by each prospective Biden/Trump administration...which administration would align most with your views most?
