He shouldnt but Trump never advocated for that nor did the threatening. In the world of adults, people are responsible for the actions they did. Trump didn't do those things. Some idiots did but they are responsible for their actions not Trump.

 

First of all - the entire "Stop the Steal" rally was a farce, as Trump had already lost all his legal attempts at proving voter fraud. At that point, he should have conceded, and congratulated Biden. Secondly, he assembled a mob. He sat and watched on TV for 3-1/2 hours. One person was dismembered. According to a bipartisan Senate investigation, nine people died because the January 6th insurrection. Many others suffered mental anguish.

 

Assembled a mob? It's called a protest and they are legal in the USA. He also called for a it to be peaceful but that doesn't fit your false narrative so I guess ignore that.

 

So in your perception of the event, after it got violent, why did Trump wait for 3-1/2 hours to do anything? Also, keeping in mind that all 2020 election court challenges were over - what were they protesting?

He told the insurrectionists to "go home" after 3-1/2 hours, and they did. What's that tell you?

What's that tell us? It clearly tells me that seeing the mayhem, violence, and destruction playing out on TV, Trump was attempting to cover his ass! Too little, and too late! After a mistake of that magnitude, do we really want him to have "the suitcase" or the "codes" again?

I loathe Joe Biden and his 'woke' handlers, but Trump's recklessness and bad judgment is very sobering indeed!
