That pretty much sums up the left's media. NPR, is the radio version of MSNBC. The difference is, MSNBC isn't living off the backs of American taxpayers.

This is the left's media thought process. They will do anything and everything to skirt the truth to ensure their message is the only thing heard. It's exactly where the term "fake news", came from....

 

As a taxpayer I want to know why I have to pay for the public broadcasting BS. Now with the Internet anyone can put out whatever message they want to put our without Federal money.

 

Um......she said that before joining NPR, during her speech about "philosophy of truth".

Pilate in the Bible said something similar when he said "“What is truth?” after he heard the accusers (Pharisees) and the accused (Jesus).

What does it mean to say "there are many different truths" other than different people will see things in different ways.

 

She clearly didn’t like the whistleblower’s truth.

 

Any news outlet that doesn’t lie about the last election and call Biden a senile pedophile is too left for the righties.

 

There aren't "multiple truths"- there are multiple conclusions; most of which will be distortions to morph the truth into something supporting what people want to believe.
This will consistenly support the transfer of responsibility from those it belongs to- to someone else.
Takes strong, secure people to deal with truth honestly. Truth can be uncomfortable- and weak people will chose a comfortable lie over an uncomfortable truth.
Literally, lie to themselves to avoid dealing with reality- which will ultimately prevail and bring them to ruin.

When a majority of a society becomes more willing to dodge responsibility than face it, that society will lose the ability to thrive, or even maintain an acceptable quality of life.
This is the tipping point we are at right now.

 

Um....again....the quote we are talking about is from several years before she joined the company.

 

Our truth is the truth but our opponents' truth is not truth is basically what her position is.....

Anyway, I will still listen to NPR though am more inclined to their classical music channel than their couple of talk radio ones available in this area.

 

Interesting?? So you’re OK when people say something in the past, that doesn’t mean they still share that opinion? Does this apply to everyone or just who you like

 

Truth is not subjective.

You're blending opinion and truth. Two people may have different truths, but factually there is really only one that is correct.

People are entitled to their opinion, they are not entitled to their own facts.

Pushing this failure of understanding into the media is terrifying.

Ahhh you do know that Trump was correct? Those of us and our emergency management in the extended part were already taking plans and already coordinating with FEMA to get resources in place and our homes prepared. That was the 7 day projection at the time.
