Not true. I have not heard much in the way of antisemitism from Trump supporters. Whatever there has been fails in comparison to the virulent chants you hear from the “sophisticated” college students at Columbia and other elite school like Harvard and Yale. The left needs to recognize that they have a cancer growing in their ranks. This blind solidarity they insist upon with other elements of the disgruntled is morphing into an antisemitic stew of bigotry that is as bad as anything the KKK instigated. Klan violence was mostly directed toward Blacks. They professed hatred for Jews and Catholics, but their main focus was people of color. Given the history of the left, with emergence of the Weather Underground in the late 1960s, I could see a similar movement emerging in the mid 2020s.
Yes, true. Sorry to spoil your day. It's usually the same bunch that support Vladimir Putin and Russia, both in congress and out. Their anti-semitism is so strong that they'll cross party lines.
Go ahead and ignore the cancer. It will grow. As for the opposition to Ukraine funding, the driving forces behind that are honest concerns about what is happening the money we send to Ukraine and a bit of neo isolationism. There is also a split in the Republican Party. A significant number of Republicans believe that appropriations for Ukraine should be tied to getting control of the border. I had this battle with one of the conservatives here.
You have dropped a straw man on me and completely side-stepped what I was saying. Having said that, you didn't deny it. Apologies to spoil your day with a dose cognitive dissonance.
I am sorry you can’t have an honest discussion about the issues because of ideology. I have gave you an honest response. If you don’t like it, so be it.
If you wish to stick your head in the sand, and ignore the plethora of hard right anti-semitic material that floods the internet - and a good dose of it on these boards, by all means do so. I am not responsible for your ignorance.
The 30+ billion aid going to Israel, majority of that money comes from tax $$$ from NYC. Thank you very much. Now let’s bash the mother F who gave us the money.
Well, then your headline should have said that she is traveling to Israel for Passover. The way it reads it implies that she is moving to Israel. That appears intentionally misleading. Of course, that's par for the course, the truth falls by the wayside first in war. Both sides on this issue would be well advised to stick to the truth and refrain from propaganda. Of course, we all know this will never happen.
1) It’s not a blind belief, it’s been corroborated by numerous other organizations and nations including our allies. 2) You can be against a military or a government and not be against the people, especially an entire religion. Nuance isn’t that difficult but I think what is going on here is much more sinister and targeted.
The obvious ideology division is coming from the Democratic Party. How many MAGAs have you seen violently protesting against Israel? Proof and not just your opinion would be constructive.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...trators-arrested-after-new-york-protest-seder ‘Not like other Passovers’: hundreds of Jewish demonstrators arrested after New York protest seder About 300 people were detained near Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer’s Brooklyn home
None. But does violent protest count as the only disturbing behaviour? What about provocative anti-semitic propaganda? Spoiler
I bet you can't give us a detailed number on how much is coming from there. It's an easy statement to make but no doubt it's not going to be an easy one to prove
The state of NY collected 393 billion federal tax in fiscal year 2022-2023 and the state of Mississippi collected 12.2 billion dollars. State of CA collected 696 billion federal tax dollars and Alabama collected 36.1 billion. You can do the math which states paid 30 times more than MAGA land Alabama or Mississippi.
And yet you still haven't proven that the majority of that money comes from New York. But that would be why you made the rather ambiguous claim of the "majority". I'm sure you can figure out some fuzzy math to prove it.....
Oh my God ! Look at that terrible insurrection right there! Progressive didn't seem to care half the nation was on fire during the summer of love. Nor did they seem to care too much at all of the injured police and hundreds of arrest around DC on Trump's inauguration Day
May be we need to start with simple math 393 is greater then 12 or 696 is greater then 36. Some of us needs to understand this first grade math , then we can move onto proving that state of NY contributed more to Israel aid then state of Alabama.
