There are ‘back room deals’ in every political party and establishment globally, they are all at it.

The way Trump did it was. You’re not a prosecuting attorney.
Trump has already a knowledge it was illegal….he wants immunity from the crime he committed.
    you’re a lawyer ? Why aren’t you defending k,
You need you read the charges. Trials don’t begin with no criminal offense has been committed.

How did Trump "do it" that made it illegal?

You have google, right? Do you suppose that if the charges were not supported by the law, that the court would've caught that?

He made the claim. He needs to support it. That's how this works.

An honest court would dismiss these charges, but we aren't dealing with a honest court.

Why don’t you google the charges the prosecutors are using….they don’t have trials without a crime in mind as far as I know. You have proof otherwise, post and link it.

It’s what it is…..same here in UK too, politic parties ‘politicking’ and lobbying behind the scenes…the practice is as old as time if you think about it

His image of "tough guy" is superficial and more like a school yard bully. Images can be penetrated and cracked very easily. No substance to them. Trump is a bully. little else. But yes..some do like bullies and perceive them as strongmen.
Don't think that Trump is all that clever. He is manipulative and reactive. He does not think things through as much as he should. He reacts emotionally....steered by his wants, goals, personal hurts , and need for revenge....as he has to be in "control".
He does not and never had the character strength to be POTUS. or the intelligence. He has street smarts, and is cunning. but is too boorish to represent a nation like this.

34 counts of falsifying business records.

Now, it's your turn to back up your claim.

That’s only part of it, continue….you never cited a full charge. Try again.

Now your just outing your biases. My comment related to arbitrarily picking and choosing when to apply due process. ALL of the prosecutions Trump's trials have been and are subject to proper due process (at least to date). God knows enough appeals have been allowed through to the keepers, which is hardly a sign he's being railroaded.

One simple rule applies. The politics of the defendant don't/cant/never matter when determining the outcome of a prosecution. Based on your comments? If it was Democrat politician being prosecuted for exactly the same crimes in exactly the same circumstances? You'd be standing outside the courtroom cheering on the prosecutions and waving a noose around in the air!

What could be more arbitrary than the lawfare treatment of Trump.
We have three differed views of US justice, lawfare, and the limits of political give and take, and nothing I say is going to moving your needle, so I'm moving on...
