President Joe Biden says he will debate Donald Trump

First of all, I don't believe Biden will debate Trump, he'll find a way to weasel out of it because there's no way he could stand on a debate stage for over an hour and not embarrass himself 50 times or more and the Easter Bunny won't be there to save him.

Second, the Howard Stern show????? That's who Biden is giving interviews to?

So the Times blasts Biden for not doing interviews (he even passed up an the Super Bowl interview during an election year) and what does Biden do? He chooses to be interviewed by Howard Stern.

NYT blasts Biden for avoiding interviews

The New York Times issued a scorching statement on Thursday blasting President Joe Biden for avoiding media interviews as establishing a “dangerous precedent,” as liberals criticized the paper in response to a POLITICO report detailing friction between the Times and the White House.

The Times in a statement called it “troubling” that Biden “has so actively and effectively avoided questions from independent journalists during his term.”

Wonderful, because their debates were so great last time, and now both of them will be even farther along in their mental decline. Won't be surprised if one of them decides to call the other "A big dumb stupidhead". That's about the level of maturity I expect out of either of them when dealing with each other.

I don't either. And the way Trump will weasel out is blaming his attorneys. He'll say they advised him against debating given his pending indictments.

And they are not wrong. If Trump debates, he's very likely to incriminate himself in more crimes that you can count.

 

I would suspect that even if it did happen, it would be so structured it wouldn't be a debate, just a recital. All questions and answers would have to be decided in advance, because Joe can't think on his feet at all. Hell he can't even read the teleprompter without speaking the instructions sometimes, like the recent on where he included the term (pause) as part of his sentence.

Joe- is not the man in charge. These crap ideas blossoming like weeds are far too complex and devious to be his, given the state of his cognizance and mental capacity. Joe is the connection to power from people staying out of sight- he sells the connection to the unscrupulous, by his position, as he obviously has done for decades. Today, Joe is like a drug mule, carrying the product for somebody else. He has coveted being president for decades; I think he sold his soul to people who always intended to use him in this way. He's owned; a puppet.

America is in deep trouble right now; potentially fatal to the America of the past- maybe more. A real debate would address huge issues, and the left would never do that. A legitimate debate would require no more than time rules and topics- but not allow teleprompters, card notes or earbugs; all responses be offhand, not recitals. That would be fatal for Joe, and of course his handlers know it. Won't happen.

 

Compared to past presidents, Biden is rarely seen or heard from. During the moments he can be seen he takes questions which appear to be pre selected, other times he just ignores questions shouted out to him. Another things is when Biden is on camera he has two personas; one is he's all fired up and angry, the other is that of a guy who is not coherent with his answers trailing off in mumbling.

KJP is often asked why won't Biden give interviews or answer questions and surely now she'll say an interview with Howard Stern, of all people, counts as an interview.

Not a single chance in hell that's ever gonna happen! He'd have to answer way too many embarrassing questions unless of course he can pick the moderator. Can you imagine what the Resident will do if Trump brings up the Ashley diary? Not that Trump should do that, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. He definitely needs to answer for using the alphabet agencies to kill the laptop story.

Debate you say? Dude...the above is more or less how such debate would go! How can Trump respond to anything credibly when he's being INDICTED, and would only be on a debate stage if he pays the bail, and follows the judge's instructions. All Biden would have to do was sit there.... look pretty... and remind the public every 2 minutes that Trump is an indicted criminal who is out on bail... and Trump is smashed. Anything MORE than that might be considered to brutal even against Trump!

Just imagine. Trump says "I will build a wall, and Mexico will pay for it!". Biden simply has to ask "Sounds great! How will you do that from prison?"

Trump has said numerous times he wants to debate Biden and today he jumped all over Biden's offer. But why do I think you're fishing for a gotcha angle?

 

What is it that you think is unsubstantiated? The diary and the catch and kill scheme by Biden sycophants in the CIA are both well documented. They literally prosecuted someone for supposedly stealing the diary and everyone now knows the laptop was not Russian disinformation. The 50 agents knew it too when they signed the letter. The Resident's campaign director asked them to lie on his behalf and they gladly did it.

 

The diary shows only that certain people either are seeing what they want to see OR have incredibly dirty minds. As for “catch and kill” - nice conspiracy theory but an illegal act is an illegal act. The diary was taken without permission - last I looked that was called STEALING.
